Re: Updated Blender Plugin
Tried to use GPU on my VEGA 56 graphics card, export was okay but the render crashed my whole PC. Then I wanted to try it again but I cannot activate blendigo anymore in Blender. Here is what the console says: Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.79\...

Re: Updated Blender Plugin
What I am currently miss is the possibility to render animations on GPU and I would be happy if I could do this inside blender close to cycles. Also things like convert cycles Materials, which is helpfull to use cycles models. Here is a list what I would also wish: (-material nodes) -viewportshading...

Updated Blender Plugin
I think I am saying that for many of the Blender users. I would buy Indigo 4 when there would be a good and updated Blender Plugin. I even would donate extra money for a good plugin. So am using the Radeon pro render in the moment, which has a good, but not perfect Blender support. So please Ono and...

Re: New card, slower rendering..
your benchmark is okay for your hardware I think. Rendering in BiDir has nothing to do with your graphics. This only uses your CPU. No idea why it is slower with dedicated graphics card installed.

Re: IndigoBench - Indigo CPU and GPU benchmark
Well, technically the AMD cards don't have "bad" results, they're still multiple times faster than CPUs. It's just that Maxwell and Pascal cards get really great results. A Fury X has 8,602 GFLOPS single precision performance and a GTX 970 3.920 GFlops, but the 970 is faster in Indigo, so for me th...

Re: IndigoBench - Indigo CPU and GPU benchmark
Referring to the question why AMD cards have bad results in IndigoBench, I have the question if it is possible to use async compute with openCL. Can anyone give me an answer to this? EDIT: @ Danj I got 2 GTX 1070 Zotac Amp, in Indigo the TDP is not high. So you could use 2 cards with stock cooler an...

Re: IndigoBench - Indigo CPU and GPU benchmark
In Luxmark the AMD GPUs are often faster than the nVidia ones. Especially the 1080 is a lot slower than the R9 390(x) for example.

Re: blendigo for 2.77 blender help me :(
Blendigo works fine with blender 2.77 or even 2.78 RC2. Just download the .zip file, and in Blender user preferences->add-ons and then install from file. Then check Blendigo that its activated. Thats it. Have fun.
EDIT: but I would appreciate very much when it would be updated to Indigo v4.

Re: Which GPU to buy?
On my two GTX 1070 the testscenes are running fine, and one 1070 is as fast as a 1080 ,which I had before, in Indigo. So go for a 1070, the 1060 might also be fine but has only 6GB vram. In this price range I think I would prefer a RX 480.

Re: [repost] Need advice about GPU choice.
I changed my single GTX 1080 for Dual GTX 1070 and found that a single GTX 1070 does nearly the same spp than a GTX 1080 in Indigo. In Luxmarks small scene the GTX 1070 has about 16000 points and the GTX 1080 about 12000. Somehow strange. Maybe thats a driver issue for OpenCL and gets fixed in the f...

Re: [repost] Need advice about GPU choice.
Now I did some tests with my GPUs: I rendered the caterpillar testscene for 3min: Radeon HD 5850 SPP : 268,18 GPU Load: ~60% Geforce GTX 560Ti SPP : 299 GPU Load: ~40% Geforce GTX 660 Ti SPP : 316 GPU Load: ~30% I would like to see the result of a Radeon HD 7950 or 7970. i have both in the same boa...
