Re: Mexico's Ranch
Hi Lal-O! Nice images, although obviously there's something you can work on the get even more beautiful images. My personal opinion is: 1. Enhance the lighting 2. Work more on materials 3. Try not to set extreme zoom angles 1. Your lighting here is a little too flat in my opinion. This kind of overc...

Re: Interior white walls and light rebounds
I'm thinking same thing as our friend the squirrel: vray is not phisically correct, so you can use tricks to achieve what you want. Indigo is physically correct, so you can't cheat. If a room is dark, it's dark and there's nothing you can do with your compact camera to make it look big and extra wel...

Re: Sketchup exporter, bump maps
Hi Nmeau, I think I got your problem. How do I scale the dimension of a map when I cannot see it? There is a "complex" anwswer that sounds like "use advanced mapping with the SAVE UVW map feature" (which I don't know if still active, btw). There is though a much simpler answer: 1. put your bump map ...

Re: "Advanced" WIPs
Hi guys! This time I present you a work done for a local fair of ceramic materials. The composition of the scene was done by a frind designer, based on the indications given by the clients. I only made the 3D model and the renders. Since I am NOT happy with the result of the overall scenes and final...

Wonderful!
I especially like the second one, so full of objects!
Are you using sketchup? Do you have some tricks to share tu manage such a number of polygons?

Re: [BUG] Light Layers Mess U.U
Hi Lal-o! First of all, you've now struggling with a very complex topic  Architecture is a very complex geometry model, and light bounces are complicate to calculate in almost every situation. Direct sunlight for example, even though it's the most natural lighting, is quite complex to calculate...

Re: a lot of white dots
Seems like the spots are way too bright here. Also, check their geometry to make sure you don't have a glass blocking the light (this makes the calculation more difficult and then so much slower), especially if the glass is a glossy transparent material. Since de dots are coloured, I assume you have...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.55 Beta Release
Never had that one, before! Can you send us a scene file, so we can try your scene out? Hi team! ...the scene in somewhat complex and....er...huge..... BTW it's a persistent bug, I also encountered the thing on anothere scene I am working on, so I guess that is not very hard too find. BTW, I know i...

Re: Some new work
The material itself is very well done indeed! It's the magic of light or is it sort of an "advanced" shader?
I already spotted the "bad" smoothing but I thought it was something wanted, like it happened for the elder pipes!
