Re: [repost] Need advice about GPU choice.

Hi! Anyone with results from RX 480? As lately there were some improvements for rendering with Cycles (openCL). Note: Nvidia GTX 10xx cards are not optimized yet; CUDA8 is in development. On the koro and fishy cat scene, the RX 480 is after all latest commits to the split kernel the fastest card. 29...

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.0.43.2

you guys are doing an amazing job
This has evolved to be so fine

one thing tho, could vignette be moved to camera setting instead of render setting & defaulted as unused/not active (makes more sense, since the effect is caused by camera)

thanks and enjoy

Re: thin-sss?

well Lukas has implemented Smith model (multiscatter GGX) into Cycles running on GPU (CUDA here, not tested on OCL, but should work)... it looks and feels amazingly real  smthng that goes well with Indigo philosophy and principal Glass_mGGX_cycles.jpg It introduces small amount of extra noise, ...

Re: Old masters of Murano-Venice

yup, you should use real world scale. is yours 100:1 (m vs. cm)? Can you set scene scale in Indigo? Would be nice. So you ask indigo to do something that should be the responsability of the 3d modeler? Why? Indigo is a graphic engine, not a modeler. Personally i take responsibility for my skills an...
