Re: Glass Problem

Please zip and attach your 3dsmax scene to a post. I'd like to have a look at it. ;o))

Re: sun edges?

I've tried to render a scene myself. And ya, I've to say this has to be a bug. In the past this scene was rendering fine, without the "shading" of the sun. And have a look the sun is able to beam ... so beam me up Scotty! 8)  http://omploader.org/tMnJ1Ng click to enlarge Nik, you really ...

Re: Glass Problem

@Otk

Did you by any chance set supersampling to 1? If so set it to 2. If it is already at 2 then
try to set it to 3 or even 4, just to give it a try. ;o))

Re: Somewhere in Liège revisited

I do remember the scene. ;) It looks quite good. Some textures could have higher resolution tho.

Keep it up! 8)

Re: sun edges?

This won't help cause it's caused by downsampling and using Mitchell-Netravali as filter. On the technical side, it's caused by float rounding errors and those lead to negative values which are then clamped to zero (black). To lower the effect you can increase the bluring and decrease the ringing. T...

Re: sun edges?

Sorry to say that but it's not a bug it's just an issue that pops up when using any sharpening filter.
Use a Gauss filter or better use AD instead which is more real anyway. ;)

Re: Indigo 2.2.7

What I'd like to see is "zoom image to mouse position". Right now it's getting very annoying to
always have to scroll to what I want to see. Thanks! :D ;)

Re: The Bently

Nice renderings Whaat. I just can't stand the kitchen design. I'm cooking a lot and when I imagine I'd build my own house and somebody would make me enjoy cooking in such a place I'd rant for sure.   ;) So even if you keep the design like that then at least change some stuff like ......

Re: exterior

Awesome WIP! A quick question. Is the palm tree and the house using a displacement map
already or is it just high-res poly stuff?
