I love the warm feeling of this room, with the bright colors and the glow. Very nice. :D

I still need to get around to doing my first interior...

Actually, I think what you'd want is to use the new render alpha stuff. Just use a normal sun/sky system (so the lighting is correct) with render alpha, and then put it in photoshop to add your own sky. You'll need to check somewhere else (one of the indy release threads) to find out how to use it, ...

You know, I had noticed the same thing the first time I saw this, but looking at it now, I can kinda see by the shadows/reflections that it's actually not. I just think the camera angle throws off any ability to see the angle that the rest of the cube is at.

For corner orientation, I use the Sune move (and it's inverses/reflections, etc. you can find how/when to use it on any cube site): (R U) (R' U) (R U2 R') What do you use then? you don't orient the corners one-by-one, do you? For the F2L: yeah, I'm still pretty bad at looking ahead... that's a big t...

That would be Fridrich F2L (cross, then corner/edge pairs). My last layer is, ATM, orient edges, orient corners, then permutation (if I don't know the PLL alg, I do corners, then edges). I'm also trying to get better at my 4x4x4. Current PB is 3:07.19 (set earlier today... :P). I hated the thing unt...

roflol, that's hilarious! I love it!

And you're right, the SSS turned out awesome, exactly how it'd look in real life.

Another cuber!! My PB is 26.30, but I average in the mid 30's. I've been cubing for a few years now, so don't worry, you'll get faster.

What method do you use? I use intuitive Fridrich F2L, and my own stupid LL method.

Nice render BTW. :D

Seeing as though this will probably come up too, when you smooth things like that, you'll also want to use the Edgesplit modifier. On another note, @neo0.: Please don't get the wrong impression, this is a really awesome, nice and helpful community. But, it annoys anyone (in this community or any oth...

Guys? I see what you're saying, and normally that would work fine. But I think Vampyre's point is the those are the *only* light sources in the scene (looks like it anyway). So, you take those out, to get a clean background plate, and no more light sources.

Hey, just thought I'd file a bug report... :P If you try to set the camera focus to "Selected" (object) when there isn't anything selected, it gives a python error and the script quits. From the status window: ---------------------- BLENDIGO v1.0.5b ---------------------- Windows-platform: win32 os....

Ah, I see. Yeah, the thing you have to keep in mind is that Shift+B for border rendering is a blender feature, so all of the controlling of it is in blender's options. SmartDen was simply able to tap into the data for it through the python API.

@psor: There isn't anything new in the Blendigo GUI to enable/disable it. I don't quite see how it's that big of a problem to hit the "Border" button though...
