I assume you applied the "sf11.nk" material to the surface. The ior doesn't match glass nor plastic or plexiglas, maybe you could try a value between 1.4 and 1.5 ? If that doesn't help, set an even lower absorptivity, maybe 0.00001 (depends on the scale of your object if I'm correct. Indigo spatial ...

Light would be decomposed into a spectrum; the first iterations would be colourfull, because with dispertion 1 ray = 1 wavelenght (1 colour of the spectrum). Nice concept, but aren't these squares artifacts of some sort ? HDRI texture maybe, or insuffisent ray depth ? Or not artifacts at all maybe.....

I will need some more thought to catch that for sure, but I think that part shows the straighter way: So the only way around would be to render all with gamma 1.0 and then reverse gamma correct the picture afterwards... Coz for instance say you have some surfaces untextured, and some with textures w...

Indigo needs to write a cache on disk, maybe your disk is full ?

I can't tell if 1.156MB is 1,1MB or 1156MB (1GB). 1GB would be odd.

That's about RGC again !

The reduced image are darker because it must be converted to linear space before reduction. http://www.lbodnar.dsl.pipex.com/imaging/thumb.html So one has to apply rgc twice actually with Indigo images in order to reduce them ? Like: - 1st reverse gamma correction > right colour space for Indigo ima...

[I-0.6] About RGC: the noob's way for an How To

And, the big secret/scoop is (please wait for the drums to come  ): the midtones value in Photoshop Levels IS a gamma value... thanks to suvakas for his support and confirmation about that precise point . So this is an image where I apply RGC for an initial gamma of 2.2 using Levels: http://ww...
