noelyone: I don't know what the problem is yet, so I can't comment on when it will be resolved.
Did you try setting allow_high_quality_bvh to false? Did it help?

Hi, I've found the file but it wont allow me to edit it?
You will probably need to edit it with a program running in administrator mode.
You can also put the code in the renderer_settings element in your .IGS file.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.18 Beta Release

There is still an issue with rendering large scenes with GPU (open CL) ticked. When these scenes are rendered the screen remains black and nothing happens. The solution is rendering large scenes with indigo version 4.0.64 which seems to work fine for these scenes but the scenes render slower than t...

Correct, SSS on GPU is missing. Support for it will be added soon though.

This is great!!

For exporting EXRs, could the option of embedding all passes into one multi-layered EXR be added? Really handy for compositing workflows.
Yup this should be doable.

Re: Opacity maps and GPU rendering

Hi,
I think the second issue is a precision issue that was solved/improved in a recent 4.2 beta build. I'm not sure if the fixed build is public yet though.

Recent NVIDIA drivers greatly improve OpenCL program compilation times in Indigo

Hi all, If you haven't updated your Nvidia graphics drivers recently, you should definitely do so. See https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=NVIDIA-CUDA-9.1-Released Nvidia seem to have mostly fixed the problem where some OpenCL kernels were taking a really long time to compile. Kernel...

Re: Indigo automatic network slave for any logged in user

Hi,

Basically the way it works is, when the network client service detects that a screensaver is running, then it runs an Indigo network client.
(To be precise, it's any program with a .scr extension running)

If no screensaver is found to be running, it terminates the Indigo network client.
