Re: First "real" project

Yep, I had to use only "mat" materials, no bump or exponent maps, 100% white (instead of only 80% as usual)

- except for the border of the swimming-pool.

Re: First "real" project

Hi guys! The project I was working on is now finished. My client absolutely wanted something close to an "architectural" (i.e. non-photorealistic) render, and wanted me to integrate 2D trees and plants. I'm not happy with the non-photorealistic render, but since all of you have been really helpful, ...

Re: Photoshop -> Clipping Masks

I thought Indigo was able to render your scene as a BW mask by clicking "Alpha" (in Blendigo)

Photoshop -> Clipping Masks

Hi all! I was wondering if someone had a good link to a tutorial that would explain how to use Black & White clipping masks in Photoshop. I've recently bought some 2D trees with the corresponding Black & White masks, so I can integrate them nicely into a 3D render. But I'm struggling with telling Ph...

That'd be great indeed, many thanks Doug.

I'm about to leave work now, I'll try "part-rendering" tonight...

Re: First "real" project

Yep, Win64 would help a lot. I'll check if my hardware can support it. How do you render only parts of your scene using Blendigo? I thought you could only do it in Sketchup. Of course I could just move the camera, but the perspective will change from one point of view to another, and it won't look g...

Re: First "real" project

Hi!

Just got the news that I'll have to do a very high-res rendering of the scene...

So far so good, but when I try to do a very high-res render Indigo says it doesn't have enough memory to be able to do it...

Is paying for an online-rendering service (Rebusfarm for example) the only solution???

Nope. That should be 1 cm.

0.01 x 100 cm = 1 cm.
StompinTom, I think I need to go back to school !!!
Thanks!!!
