Yes, great renders, but that chair looks dangerously unstable

Re: Chromatic Aberration / Fish eye lens effect.

chromatic aberration was actually a feature of violet (an indigo tonemapping programm), would be lovely to get it back! Just downloaded Violet to try it out but it appears no new releases have been made since 2008... is violet dead? If so, some of the features in violet should definitely be integra...

Re: Im pretty confused?

Double thread  Pgim files are essentially .zip files with the igm file and textures, while igm files are just the... igm files. You use them by (or at least I do) extracting them to somewhere on your computer, then in the Blendigo exporter, you set the material type to external, and set the p...

Re: Borgleader's Material Emporium

For the orange carpaint - try and use some kind of map that has a lot of dots (noise map?) so that it has some speckle to it, instead of just being a flat color? Damn I need to learn ISL... Are you planning on making this whole process more user-friendly sometime in the future, Ono? because t...

Re: Indigo Demo Reel.

Well, not all the scenes have to be terribly complicated.. they just need to show off what Indigo can do 8) .

Indigo Demo Reel.

I think that all of us, as a community, should work on a demo reel to show off some of the features of Indigo, and some of the great renders it has produced. It would certainly help with Indigo's publicity, and it would be a fun community project. A great reel I recently came across was Maxwell Rend...

Re: My scene from the last Evermotion comp

Beautiful renders. The DOF in all of them is great. I can never get mine to behave correctly... do you have any tips? :? My only real critique is that the texture on the wall and the phone box in the 3rd aren't quite suitable for a close-up shot, and the phone seems to be slightly out of proportion ...

Re: Scared of Blender? Here's a guide to show you around...

What I like most about blender is how there are shortcut keys for just about everything. At first I agree its annoying to learn but once you know them its awesome, it speeds up your workflow a lot. I tried 3dsmax lately and it was pissing me off just in all the tutorials they used the panels to do ...
