mirror material (how to ?)

Hi, sorry if this subject has already been discussed (couldn't find if so). I want to have a perfect mirror material. For the moment, all I get is wether all black, or too blurry. I'm working with blender, when I turn on the "Mirror Transp -> Ray Transp" button, my object is all black. http://www.ch...

Thanks for your reply. That's what's strange : there's no texture applied to the mesh, no image selected in the "UV/image editor". Well in blender, the mesh seems to be perfectly "clean" : it is just a basic phong material, not textured. But I imported that mesh in blender from an old project, where...

"ghost" uv- coordinates : how to delete them ?

Hi, I've got a problem with blender and indigo : I'm modelling a door in blender, and as you can see the render is weird in indigo. http://www.charlesrazack.com/3d/indi1.jpg http://www.charlesrazack.com/3d/indi2.jpg It seems there are some "ghost" uv coordinates attached to the mesh. I want a simple...

mmmhh if it's water, than the material should be <specular>, not phong. Than the <ior> setting is something like 1,33 for water. And for the <cauchy_b_coeff> value, I don't know... so the code should be something like : <specular> <transparent>true</transparent> <ior>1.33</ior> <cauchy_b_coeff>0.1</...
