REQ : How about a "tutorials" sub-section forum ?

EDIT : ok, poll is over, the tutorials section est created. Go and post tutorials/tips/advices ! Hi, I don't know if this is something already planned or not (I read something about a wiki going on, right ?), so I thought I could post a poll here. So how about a "tutorials" sub-section forum ? I've ...

Maybe you can try that : Use a standard glass material like this (sorry poor quality) : http://www.charlesrazack.com/3d/semi1.jpg Then put this texture on it, as a bump map. : http://www.charlesrazack.com/3d/semi4.jpg And you get something like this : http://www.charlesrazack.com/3d/semi2.jpg If you...

hmmm, having to apply unequal scaling to the mesh seems like trouble. I totally agree with this, all the scenes I builded before v0.7 don't work anymore, and it's a real pain to look for wich objects aren't equally scaled. I don't know if this problem is hard to fix, but from a user point of view, ...

thanks zsouthboy,
After hand-editing the xml, I finally got it to work.
Now I have to figure out how to make it work directly from within blender.

Hi wedge, first thanks for posting so fast your exporter. But I can't get blend material to work, I tried to follow your instructions but everything's not clear. I want to get a nice grass material as seen on radiance's render here . So here is my setup in blender : http://www.charlesrazack.com/3d/q...

just quoting wedge's thread : "ensure every objects scale is equal for all 3 directions X,Y,Z - all uneqal scaling should be applied to the mesh (not the object) - use Ctrl-A to apply objects asymmetric transformations to the underlying mesh in your case hope it help, regards, zuegs" I find this lim...

@drBouvierLeduc: you mean something got broken? No, I mean in general, in the exporter, you have to chose wether you want to lite your scene with sun lamp OR mesh emitter OR background environment. Is there some reason for this ? I'd like to be able to chose, for example let's say sun lamp + mesh e...

OK, I have a question :

Why can't we use a mesh emitter + a background color at the same time ?
I would be so much easier to setup scenes like this, and closer to reality.

Anyway, the last version of the exporter (beta2) is a great work, many thanks.

Problem with UV textures : My projects are located in " c:\program files\indigo\scenes\xxx\... ", with .blend files and textures. But the exporter looks for the textures in " c:\program files\indigo\... ", so it can't find them. Is there a way to make it look in the directory where the .blend file i...
