Abstract Experiments

Hi guys, I played around with some abstract experiments lately. I also did a short animated version, but since Vimeo and YouTube both can't handle to compress it correctly I'll guess I can't show you that for now. But I still hope you like the images even though it's something completely different :...

Re: Pace Gallery

Thanks ;) Yeah, those are mostly done with V-Ray, as I used it at work for the last few years. But those are all non-commercial renders, sadly I can't show any comissioned work public right now.
But I really look forward to work with Indigo some more, I'm really really fed up with V-Ray.

Hehe, wasn't aware of that. I guess the place makes quite the impression on CG artists. :D

Re: Pace Gallery

Thanks for the advice. Might try rendering again just for fun so I can compare. Also fiddled around with some abstract things, hope I can share some more soon. 8)

Pace Gallery

Hi guys, I started using Indigo back in 2006 when I made my first steps in CGI. It's been a long time since then and I haven't used Indigo for over half a decade now - feels all a bit weird to say that, doesn't feel THAT long. :) However, by now I'm in ArchViz professionally for a few years now, but...

Re: Cindigo Wishlist

When creating Materials - I always sort my materials in layers. If I'm currently in an active layer and create a material usually the material should be created in the active layer, instead it is created without a layer - is it possible to fix this?

Re: Using Noises in World Space

Sadly my coding knowledge is to small to really evaluate this. But how would it theoretically work that Indigo supports Cinemas internal noise shaders? I would be really happy if this could work somehow, as there are also some other shaders which really would be of great use if supported properly (T...

Re: Using Noises in World Space

I'm 99,9% sure V-Ray does it without baking the noise into textures. As V-Ray in the end also needs the V-Ray Core to render the scene I think it should somehow be possible for Indigo too. But I also know the V-Ray integration is very deep and needed a lot of work. For sure this is no trivial task, ...

Using Noises in World Space

Hey there, after using V-Ray for C4D for about 3 years now I want to give Indigo another try. I already used it way back in 2006, so it has been a while, so please excuse me if I ask some stupid questions. From V-Ray I'm used that nearly all C4D shaders are natively supported. So, if I use a noise s...
