Any advice...?
Just keep working on the scene and the lighting will start to shape up and then you can make needed adjusments.

The lighting doesn't look so good right now, but you have more work on the scene to do first.

These are all great BbB!

Quick question - In villa1.jpg the rock wall on top, how is that done. Is that a bumpmap or modeled? If it's modeled, how did you do it?

I've been trying out textures the last few days, but I'm not very good at unwrapping and need help with the main "house" object. How would you guys unwrap this? That's what I was thinking. I'll keep going with out rendering the ivy for now, but I'll need to do something for my final render. [edit] For my beams and doors, how much modeling is recomended? If I use planks for the door should I just model the planks and leave it at that? or should I model every...

lol, I was able to get some of my ivy to export, but not all of it at once. I can't get all 3 sets to go, I didn't try the right corner by itself, the middle won't go by itself, and I got the left to work by itself. Now to try some sets of two. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p50/doublez1/im12033...
