Re: Need a new mat structure to make indigo popular

Well, sorry if I sounded harsh, but as someone who hangs around here for quite some time I can assure you that you have a helpful community around here, but sadly we are perhaps not as much as we would like to be. :(

Re: Need a new mat structure to make indigo popular

Had you been as thorough in explaining your problem as you were in this dissertation of yours regarding the "problems" you find in the community, and perhaps people would be actually more helpful.

Re: Need a new mat structure to make indigo popular

For me the biggest problem isn't the indigo materials, but how cumbersome it is to mix multiple materials so one can exploite the vast superiority of Indigo materials. AFA simple materials go they couldn't be any simpler.

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.2.22 - R20 Beta

Could you put a switch in the light tag so that one could choose between a diffuse/null material? I usually use it so I can better hide the shadows in some fill light I create in a scene. This way the object emitting light don't have it's own shadow casted.

Re: Round Corners

I find a nice video on the subject, and I bet indigo could be made to use them, as they are basically normal maps applied to uv map in the 'right way'.

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.2.22 - R20 Beta

It would be swell if one could use the gfx card for previewing the materials, or having at least a switch to set it default.

Sun and water

There's something odd with the sun model. Even where water ought to be more transparent, (near the border) it shows it way darker then it should.
