It's my first try rendering this big image.

Thank you, BbB.

Hi all, about shift lens ; I'm wondering, what is the unit of the shift lens parameter? Does it relative to...camera position, rendering size, scene scale,....anything? about display period ; As I use network rendering quite often, due to the fact that I don't have powerful machine. If I set display...

I really like the funky lighting for the canopy.

I'd say it's pretty good for the conceptual design presentation.

I've never known that before. And that's a very good safety net for a noob like myself. Actually, I've never really close Indigo while it's saving file before. There are lots of useful advise I read around here about what to do and what not. So I tell myself, "Just don't do it" Network rendering is ...

Just close the CLI version like the GUI version, the window says render thread terminating and stuff then ;) For the GUi version on slaves, hitting the redX button doesn't do the trick for me. Indigo says it's "Quitting" but it doesn't really quit. It just keeps rendering and sending frame to the m...

stop rendering via indigo_console.exe

Hi, Just wondering, is there a proper way to stop rendering via indigo_console.exe, in Windows? Usually, I just wait for the right moment (make sure that Indigo is not saving .png or .igi or anything) then hit Ctrl+break. For the GUI version, I stop rendering by clicking the redX on the upper-right ...

Code: Select all

 f.write("start /b /belownormal indigo.exe "" + relpath(indigopath,filename) + "" -n wm" + "\n")
it will start it in working master.
Thank you very much for pointing that out. This is a very helpful information.

About mesh light;
How about your unit in the scene? Is it in meter or inch (or feet)? One unit in Indigo = One meter.

About the "No 'spectrum' element found...";
Sorry, I have no idea about that. I ran into this error once and got through it but really can't remember how :oops:

I guess there's the sun outside your room. Try increasing the Power(W) to something like 12,000 or more. The sun is very hard too be beaten :) Also checking your normals. Make sure all normals for your mesh light are pointing out. I recommend you searching the forum about creating neon light. I thin...

After recreating a new .blend file from scratch (not from appending object from the old file), every thing is going smooth.

I'm not sure what's going on but I'm trying to sort things out. I'll let you know if the problem occurs again.

I sometimes have this message about "scene.getCurrentCamera<> deprecated!" when exporting .igs

This message is on and off. Without changing anything to the scene, I re-exported the scene and the warning is gone. Did that couple of times, it's back......and gone again :?
