Edit: Oh, this one is not scanned by you :"D And you're doing the lookdev part, ofc.

Re: Sroka8888 Rendering Thread

That's really awesome, can we share this on our blog / social media?

Also, please share your Chaotica renders! :D

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.55 Beta Release

Welcome back neo0 :D As I understand it, improving our plugins for 3D modelling apps is the major near term priority over the Indigo App itself (which is of course also being improved along the way); I'm not speaking for Nick of course :)

Re: Silverwings Render Corner

Wow, this is really getting challenging to render, thanks Silverwing for the gift that keeps on giving :) Not many engines out there that can do this, if I may say... excellent tweak, yonosoy!

Can we maybe get the tweaked scene file please?

May 2017 Competition Results

Hi again guys, thanks for your patience while we worked through the judging process :) We've decided on 5 winners in total (click the thumbnails for higher resolution images): First place goes to Zom-B / Polygonmanufaktur! A true Indigo veteran, he polished off his entry in the last minutes of the c...

Re: May 2017 Competition

Agreed, great entries everyone, thanks for taking part! I've just noticed that due to the Ethereum mining craze, Radeon RX 580s are very hard to come by: http://wccftech.com/amd-gpu-supply-exhausted-by-cryptocurrency/ Because of this, I think we'll offer people to get a nice GeForce instead if they ...

That's probably because of the silent change made to result of Indigo's camera tonemapping :(

Re: My silly stuff

Very interesting and unusual works! I'm curious what you're using for the special effects around the magic staff- looks like something that might be generated with our program Chaotica actually :D

Looking forward to more!

Oscar J wrote:The render speed (in Ms/s) is largely unaffected by resolution in any case. :)
It does affect it, the amount depends on the scene though. The Indigo benchmark could really stand to render for longer, if not at higher resolution... maybe for the next update :)

It's just the normal Indigo benchmark, not really high resolution: https://www.indigorenderer.com/indigobench/

May 2017 Competition

https://www.indigorenderer.com/sites/default/files/indigo%20may%202017%20compo%20920.jpg With all the big changes since our last Indigo competition, we figured it's high time for another one! For this competition we'd like to get some new scenes to be included with Indigo . There will be at least 3...

Re: eGPU enclosure + GTX 1080 Ti /Mac

I have to say: why go to all this trouble with external GPUs for a laptop with an operating system that very reluctantly supports them via a series of hacks that simply works better using Windows (per the article, not my conclusion) at a huge price premium, when you can simply build a normal inexpen...
