Your statement seems right, ive never seen it when there is no sun. I discovered the bright vertical line too but joegiampaoli was faster than me My scene is quite complicated, ill try to simplify it and see if it still does it. If it does ill give it to you.

Actually the maxwell render would be the correct way to render it as void is transparent and has an IOR of zero . It renders black in indigo because indigo doesnt support transparent nk yet. Other transparent nk's render black like the void nk (ex: diamond).

Talking about those... Ive tried to save one but it did nothing (i turned "save untonemapped EXR" to true). Do i need to do something else? Is it saved somewhere else than with the renders?
