I cant find a link between your design and the whole concept of Indigo... The current logo has an I seen through a glass sphere showing the most basic aspects of light simulation, Maxwell has a sinusoidal curve design to symbolize a light-wave which rendering is all about, etc. I think if we have to...

Im sorry i didnt post the rework, the blender exporter refuses to cooperate :x I get the orthogonal matrix error. The rework is completed, but until the exporter is corrected, i wont be able to post a render :( In the meantime ill try workarounds but i cant promise anything...

I still like my submission from long ago, so im gonna put i here just for fun lol. It would need a serious rework as the normals are weird. Heres a not-so-good render of it done long ago, it doesnt show it very well.

I hate timed trials, 15 days is way too short. I prefer the Terragen approach: Infinite trial but with limits on some features. That being said... ZOMG this program is awesome! Id love it if Blender Sculpt could even just approach this level of perfection. Right now the blender sculpt takes way too ...

Instancing for particle dupliverts?

Is it possible with the exporter? I have read some of the exporter development thread but found nothing about instancing dupliverted particles. If its not possible right now, is it planned for the future?

Thanks!

Using .ply models

The .ply models from Stanford scans are too heavy for my computer to handle in Blender, and the decimated versions that came with the file are a mess (loss of detail, random double faces, holes, etc.). I think i read somewhere in here that you can 'append' a .ply model to the scene xml just like a ....

Quick question

Does the exporter convert 1 blender unit to 1 indigo unit? So 1 blender unit would equal 1 meter since 1 indigo unit equals 1 meter?

Ono, i know what you mean. Do you want the absorbance/transmittance of hemoglobin/oxyhemoglobin at different wavelengths (interval of 20nm)? I studied spectrometry pretty front top to bottom. I could do if if you havent already. EDIT: The graph is in absorption coeff, but the task is pretty much the...

Can you use matte surfaces with SSS? Like a diffuse surface, which would be good for skin. So far i've only seen glasy/specular surfaces on SSS.
