It is still possible that the next jump in RAM usage has been not possible in BVH calculation...
can you PM me that scene via dropbox and I try on my 1080Ti with 128GB system RAM?
If this is caused by a small amount of memory, why in one version of render reliably works in another reliably fails?

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.19 Beta Release

I was surprised that the scene eat a lot of RAM. But it does not reach the maximum (32Gb). But so in the previous version is render ok

Hey Pavoda, disable the unneeded OGL preview, it eats up your GPU RAM, then try again.
For the Scene that renders for 2min without any output the render log would be very interesting...

Start indigo rendering in some scene, but screen is still black...time runing but sampless not. If I disable OpenCL - render run OK and image go to progres. If I enable OpenCL back, the error dialog is appeare....Version 4.2.14 was more stable in this case.

Re: Cinema render crash

I use C4D R19 and the latest Cindigo and Win 10. But version of C4D does not affect (I tested it). Sometimes is render ok, but if I try render again it crash. I have found that the total number of textures used (not materials) is the key. To 40 used textures is ok. More textures means more chance to...

Re: Cinema render crash

Hi all, Could you please test my scene in C4D. My problem with crashing the program still persists. This scene contains about 45 textures, which is the amount that leads to frequent program crashes. I tested on three different computers and more versions of C4D and will always crash. It's a pretty c...

Re: Pikadili89's projects

Sorry you didn't get the feedback you wanted. I think your renders are technically pretty great, even though I see a couple of tiled textures. Some of the renders seem to lack a little expression. The colour balance is somhow a little sterile and gloomy for a sunny place like this. Maybe I went ove...
