Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.18 Beta Release

Well, afaik the simple issue here is the gigantic differance in computing power between your CPU and GPU. By running both in OpenCL mode the CPU usually bottlenecks the GPU perfromance, therefore the combined speed can be way below pure GPU perfromance. Also CPU OpenCL drivers can be very limiting ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.18 Beta Release

Disable your CPU as a openCL device and try again, this could help. Yeah, well...It worked by disabling the CPU :). Correct me if i am wrong but...If i do this ... i'd be losing the extra power of rendering that gives the CPU when enabled both devices ( CPU+GPU ) right? As far as i know, indigo is ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.18 Beta Release

Hi Zom-B No problem in the render log. This is what i get after 7/10 min render. ( The image says 12 seconds , but i let it render more time and the result was the same ). With the 4.2.14 i got a very impressive progress compared to this new release. Final result with 4.2.14 Here: https://www.indigo...

Small Bathroom

Hi guys. This is my latest work. Hope you like it . C&C Welcome. Two version of the same project. :D 2 hrs each...Not sure if that is a "normal" time for a little project like that, but for me is toooo much ....Anyway...if someone wants to give a try to get lower rendering times then just feel...

Re: Small Commercial Building

Is it just me or is the wood beams texturing looking funky? Wood grain size & direction bothers me. The "wood beams " are not made of ...wood :o ...They are just steel beams painted like...that ...I didn't understand either what the client wanted to achieve with that effect

Re: Small Commercial Building

Very nice! The perspective really highlights the special architecture. Cool render, I also like the use of plants, which is just subtle enough to not be too pronounced. As you also asked for critic: You could pay more attention to the transition between materials. Usually, there are small gaps, som...

Re: Small Commercial Building

Not bad! I feel the lighting is a little too uniform, maybe try with an HDR? Also, followme billboards often lead to unexpected results (featuring "floating couple of friends in the sun" ahah). For the continuous window walls I always suggest to apply a very big procedural noise shader in the bump ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.18 Beta Release

Well, i've been playing a bit with this new version and it seems that an old problem i used to have is gone ( whased out colours right after the first export to INDIGO from Skindigo). And now i'm facing a "major" problem when using the OpenCL. Everything seems to be fine, indigo loads the files with...

Re: Washed out colours after exporting

Thank you for your reply :D I could send you the file, but the issue is with all my projects...sometimes happens sometimes don't.This is been a minor problem since any of 4 versions( till the 4.2.18). I did not said a word before because of its easy way of solving the problem but, sometimes ...

Washed out colours after exporting

Hi there guys. I am facing a problem with indigo,i don't know why , but this is happening right after updating to the latest version. I am getting washed out colours when rendering (right after exporting the file to Indigo ). It can be solved by doing any change in the file ( like changing the rende...

Re: Importing Geometry into Indigo stand alone

What file formats would be most useful to you? Hi there fused ! Thx for the reply :D Well, so far it could be .Obj , but any would be great since i have 3ds max ( I use it only to change file formats to .Obj and be able to use it in Sketchup as a linked geometry -Sketchup does not suppor high poly ...
