Re: H2o2 rendering thread

Wow thanks guys for your quick replies ! Yeah, the lamp shade was finally some sort of a "miss", unfortunately. I had another one showing a better effect but for some reason i had artifacts on it so i decided to retake the material and this one isn't as convincing. :( Still learning ! ;) As ...

Re: H2o2 rendering thread

Here is another series, shamelessly inspired (or should i say copied ?) from a superb render by Mister Bertrand Benoit. (well does he ever make so-so render ?) So the renders here are done with various mood from night to "white" day. In this one i used the technique told by TheSquirrel to add some d...

Re: H2o2 rendering thread

So the first one is a "copy" of a room i saw in a magazine.
As i thought it was looking great, i tried to do some renders from the photo !

H2o2 rendering thread

Hi guys, here are some renders i have done recently with Indigo (RT for now, i need to buy a full license one or the other to get the extras features !), as i'm starting to get used to the way it works (still a long way to get the right to think i'm mastering it, though !). Hopefully those few rende...

Re: Known issue ? Blend material and architectural glass

Thanks again ! :) In fact i'm using Indigo (RT only for now but i think that it's now the time to go with the "full" Indigo, i hope to upgrade soon !) since a long time now, only that i have been using it sparsely unfortunately, mostly because my previous machines weren't really suited for the great...

Re: Known issue ? Blend material and architectural glass

Hey there Laurent, and welcome! I was having the same problems when I was trying to create an irregular glass, exactly with this type of material, the blended one. Tried everything, actually, but the only solution was the one I did in this topic (double mesh system). Read it up, and ask whatever co...

Known issue ? Blend material and architectural glass

Hi. I don't know if it's a known issue or even a know limitation as of now but as i was trying to do a believable dirty glass shader i thought i would try to blend an architectural, single faced glass material with a simple diffuse material. But it seems that, although i have no problem mixing those...

Re: new indigo GPU Version also on mac?

I just trowing this into discussion since a lo t of developer are giving up on developing OpenCL renderer on OS X because of the bad implementation. (LuxRender community) To be fair (not that i don't think Apple could do a lot more regarding the development of OpenCL, quite the contrary to be hones...

I'm sure you do ! ;)

Hopefully it's something that can be set with an update of Qt ?

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.8.5 Beta Release

It seems Indigo isn't friend with the new Mac OS X 10.9.4 as it crashes every time saying it encountered the problem while using QtopenGL. Did a test with 3.8.4 as it was working fine but it crashes as well. Removing OpenGL preview is a bit better as it doesn't crash instantly but i can't even launc...
