Please provide a Blend file or IGS. It would make it a lot easier to help you. :)

But it only does this when closing the Window by pressing the X-thingy.
When closing through File -> Exit, it closes instantly.

Shouldn't this be fixed then?

Re: Pc completely messed up after installing ubuntu

How did you install Ubuntu?
Any errors?
What formatting did you use on the partition?

Oh, and you should be able to reinstall Windows.
Just reformat it to NTFS (recommended) or FAT32.

Please post .blend file (unless of course you use something else).
Then we'll be able to see what's wrong.

Well, i don't know what's wrong with the server, but you could always just get the zip and install it yourself.

It's very easy. :)

Well, why don't you just make your laptop connect directly to the router instead of through your desktop?

Well, that depends on how you get your internet to your laptop through your desktop computer.

Wired connection is no problem in Ubuntu (or any other distro), but wireless connection can be quite a pain in the ass.

Please give some more information. (:

Sweet bike. :D
The model is cool, the lighting and materials look good and the floor/ground looks pretty real.
But the brickwall is really too flat. Though i get why. A bump map wouldn't help much, especially not at the corner and displacement is a real pain in the butt.

Nice work man.

Yeah, pretty much the exporter, but just found out Zeugs did it, which explains a lot. ^^

And yeah, i know there will be a material system later.

And yes, competition is good. It looks very promising. :D

Just tried out LuxRender. Its seems pretty fast, it already is pretty advanced and the gui of the program is pretty neat. But i don't like to set up the materials in the Blender material editor and the interface of the exporter is confusing. Even though it pretty much feels like one big Indigo rip-o...

Pretty cool render. The lighting looks good, the floor is great and the duck is a nice detail. But i think you should have made the sponge more square-ish and yellow, 'cause from a distance, it's hard to tell if it is a sponge or soap. Oh, and the towel isn't very convincing. But im just being picky...
