Re: A natural situation

Hi galinette. The "scientific research" by this side is til at the initial point (it's nothing serious, only feelings). Your work is also exciting. The polarized picture is indigo's output with indigo's medium air. Glad to meet you, for more over is intention to publish the "discoverys". Is tablet d...

Re: A natural situation

Ono, this is one of the first attempts with indigo (don't remember exactly but could be the release 3.4). The first week was focused in avoid this behaviour. Still not sure if was part of a dream, something like: <polarization>true</polarization> If this is too in trunk the posibilities jumps anothe...

Re: A natural situation

No splat filter, no downsize filter. Just the integral (beginning to learn to develop this).
Other feature difficult to see in others.

Re: A natural situation

Thanks Oscar agree. Less doubts in the future hope! With a high zenith could be very intense.

Edit with the exr raw solution from ´'`\_(ò_Ó)_/´'` (Zom-b gratefull).

Re: WIPs: CTZn

Hi Zom-B, strange, maybe there are local behaviours. The render here was stopped near this time (yesterday a one of 1000+ was riched...). There are problems to solved of course... How do you feel the speed? This time is a very dense stratus. Is seriously fragil and some parameters are been tunned co...

Re: WIPs: CTZn

Dear good spirit, a return. Some details (some of them in order to be free soon (bidireccional) of was is necessary at the moment: <bidirectional>false</bidirectional> <max_depth>10000</max_depth> <max_num_consec_rejections>1000</max_num_consec_rejections> <super_sample_factor>2</super_sample_factor...

Re: A natural situation

Another one. From under the volume the situation is right too. With a sphere equation by earth and the canyons shape above. Speed: 21K samples/second. Time:8h45m. Near 1000 samples/pixel. (more complex) (since there are no exr, is nude, ... the shoots are taken with ektachrome and are directly indig...

Re: A natural situation

Thanks. Some days of analysis instead of touching bad the code (a very big suffer with so many monsters published). Really, it's a great desconsideration to take this codes and change everything without talent.

Re: A natural situation

CTZn, it's your shader (not tweaked, but the number of fbm octaves for a big volume has a great impact and not a great benefit). Hope you "come back" soon. Encouragements with those personal difficulties (simpatía> SIMilar Pathos. With the same pain or illness).

Re: A natural situation

Second positive (maybe now it's better to wait for the new medium and conditions). Speed: 23k samples/s Time:4h30min. Since there are no details and a propper material, till here (only 600 samples per pixel).

Re: A natural situation

An approach for the next serie. The datum, 13300 millions of polygons (indigo stops the count at 9999 millions) with a consumption of RAM of 737 MB. Speed: 34K samples/sec. Time: 43h. (... only the cathedral, there will be a city around ...). cathedral_approach.jpg Explanations soon. Thanks Oscar, n...

Re: A natural situation

File was loss again, working around. In this piece of CTZn work there are thousands of awesome situations. Bad hands to express... (shaded, instancied, ... at the moment this "dry" documents).

Re: A natural situation

Success only mixing the cloud layer with the atmosphere medium. Same conditions as tried to explain before (Fakeshamus tricky scene). All info the pigs, focused over CTZn and OnoSendai, but for general test too. simple_clouds(breaks_down).png.jpg clouds_in_atmosphere.jpg clouds_in_atmosphere(working...

Re: WIPs: CTZn

HI. Please inspect every change before to incorporate them. So many thanks. Good news about speed (x7.5, from 3k to 22k samples per second here), but in part due to the increament of the step size from 20 to 60 (maybe too much). The "tweaks" (sorry for that, but seems that you are able to understand...
