Re: Landscapes

A clarification.

Atmosphere works perfect with perfect spheres, but is a no go with meshes!
If you use a GeoSun, meshes go right!

Is strange, but...

Really sorry for my declarations about that, just used to do it in this way because 3.8 behaviour with perfect spheres.
Just closer now ...

Re: Landscapes

Five days trying...

Remeber that is necessary too to read the distance from the camera.
Thanks again.

Until this is acomplished, I will take a rest.
Bye!

Re: Landscapes

Thank you man!, are you not working 3D actually? I missed you lately... A simple load test. 35 millions of instances. Now, just imagine a correct slope distribution... I´m trying this equation with no success. Is the one we used to mix materials by slope. The original is with normalWS() function. de...

Re: Landscapes

Hello Jastreb. As you mention, what really consumes time, is getting rid of ... It seems a very cool challenge. If you are able to acquire a good displacement map that contains the ocean bed you have it. You will need a very clear albedo for the bed and use Bidirectional MLT. I would advise you not ...

Re: Landscapes

This is. :)
It´s only to materialize the concept, a startpoint to make things happen.

Another far impression of what this should be.
Downnsized 50 %, 11 hours.

Still working with v3.8, atmosphere in v4 is a no go (please take a look for the next release, thanks).

Re: Landscapes

Hi burnin. Only when I use mie cumulus there is a green and a violet tint (strong). When I work only with atmosphere, it just goes right. A little hard point of convergence since the inclusion of ozone in the material in the 3.8 serie of Indigo, but much more realistic. Thanks! If you need anything ...

Re: Landscapes

For this one I take two dirty raw. One for a standard setup for atmosphere, and one with captured simulation. Then the two images are composed with some LUT and so...

Interesting experiment, but twice the price in terms of time.

Intensily denoised (just a quick test). 10 hours both.
