Re: Make my render Glossy
You can mess with the glossiness and material parameters all you want, if you don't get the lighting right, it will still look completely dead. You need to create light sources for the plastic to reflect. What lighting are you currently using?

Re: UI feedback
There is nothing like Indigo at the moment. All the great, high quality options are all very expensive. I have been putting out work for 100% free that has caught the eye of several companies. This, to me, is incredible. Many early-stage startups have an idea for a product that they think can chang...

Re: UI feedback
Thanks for that lesson about how the creative industry works, I guess. It doesn't really answer why Indigo needs a better UI (or even a UI at all), when the entire rendering industry has been moving in the exact opposite direction for the past five years.

Re: UI feedback
I would say that the reason why Indigo has't achieved widespread usage in the industry is it's UI. I wouldn't. It's a much more multifaceted problem than you make it out to be. It's everything from plugin support and feature set to marketing, documentation and training. And the UI question itself i...

Re: The GPU does not work in large scenes
Hmm, looks like those 2 GB tree models could be a problem for GPU rendering, yes. Maybe you can reduce those in polycount or something - I think 3ds Max should have some good tools for that. I think you should send the scene to support@indigorenderer.com, so that they can test it and maybe optimise ...

Re: The GPU does not work in large scenes
Hi!
Can you provide some more info about your scene? Are you using heavy geometry, multiple large textures/HDRIs, instances?

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.65
120 k triangles is nothing, you should comfortably be able to have 100x more. There's something else that's wrong, have you checked the render log?

Re: Geometry disappears when rendering
Nice catch! I had this bug once a while ago I think. Could you upload the scene for the developers to look at?

Re: Kscore's Render Area
Cool!
I'd be interested to learn - what's keeping you from achieving as good results in Indigo as you can in Corona? Obviously they have some great tools for arch viz, but which advantages are the most major in your opinion?

Sweet! Love the hint of colour LUT or whatever it is you've got going on there.

Re: How to make a white object stand out?
That's just compact white, right? Have you tried changing from Linear to Reinhard tonemapping to ensure that it isn't just completely overexposed?

Make the objects around it darker, I guess.
Do you have a render to share, perhaps?

Re: Assigning GPU's
Welcome to the forums!
You probably have to select the Nvidia GPU within Indigo standalone (in the OpenCL settings).
