Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.64 Stable Release Candidate
I've also noticed that indigo wont display the right amout of cores coming from the GPU...My GPU has 3072 cuda cores and indigo only displays 24...( It could be that i'm confusing things :P ). https://us.hardware.info/reviews/5974/2/nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-x-12gb-review-monstrous-gpu-3072-cores-12...

Re: Adding GPU's
"I read somewhere that all graphic cards must be exactly the same model to make them work" That might be true for other renderers, but it's certainly not for Indigo. You're free to use GPUs in any combinations, you can even mix AMD and Nvidia ones. Examples of that here: https://www.indigorenderer.c...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.64 Stable Release Candidate
Cool, thanks for summing up what you found. 1) Looks like that might be due to your GPU path depth setting (8). Each time a ray of light passes through a transparent material, that counts as a "bounce". CPU rendering uses many thousand by default, you might wanna try increasing the GPU path depth to...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.64 Stable Release Candidate
Hi Juju, The devs are having some time off at the moment. That, to me, seems like a feature that might not benefit that many in the Indigo user base. Maybe it can be included with all those other render passes that have been requested though?

Agreed. There's been many requests for this and I'd imagine it's pretty high up on the to-do-list.

The last one is a great render!
Personally I prefer smaller or noisier renders with more atmosphere, but I can definitely see that Indigo 4 can be practical. Hopefully we will have SSS on GPU soon?

Looks good!
150 is also OK, certainly for bigger prints. What size are you going to print it on?

Re: Sculptures Whitaker Studio
An impressive collection of renders! In general I feel like the night/evening shots work better because the statues get much more attention, and the renders suffer less from the variation in backplate quality. I'd try going for these kinds of shot more - because of the detailed, ornamented nature of...

Re: My Shtterstock Renders
They're nice, certainly have the mood and tone. But it looks like you need better textures and materials, for example the wood floor planks look about five times to small. I would also let them render for longer to get rid of the noise.

Yeah, I built it myself a while ago from a guide here: https://egpu.io
I just have a 7970, but the new Vega GPUs should probably be great.

Re: Indigo 4 and MBP 2017, anyone?
I'm using a 2015 Macbook Pro with M370X - works fine with GPU rendering, but lags the OS quite a bit in heavy scenes. It's about 2-3x faster than the 2.8 ghz i7. Your GPU should be quite a bit faster still, maybe 2x. I have an external GPU box for my heavy duty stuff, something I can warmly recomme...

Re: Kscore's Render Area
It's not necessary in most cases, only when you have fireflies. I thought you might have used it, but never mind.

Re: Kscore's Render Area
Nice! Very cool to see some more animations with Indigo.
Can I ask whether you used clamping when rendering this one?
