Re: 2 Radeon Polaris Vs Radeon Vega?

That's what the benchmark database is for. :)

I would go for the Vega, or whatever you can get that has more memory.

Re: Oscar's rendering thread

Thanks guys :)

Some new shots of a design project I've been working on recently. The quality is a bit up and down, the renders are mainly suppose to describe the design. Hope you like it :)

Re: Crooked aportrait light?

Since you have a 7970 graphics card, you could get a lot better performance if you enable GPU (OpenCL) rendering (maybe one minute instead of 12).

Re: Crooked aportrait light?

Hi bvn, Indigo for Cinema 4D has integrated rendering for this specific purpose - so that you can do all the light setup in Cinema 4D. Not sure whether that answers your question?

Re: Pikadili89's projects

Really great materials! :O And the glare from that desk lamp is awesome. I just think that the renders are a bit dark overall, it's hard to see all the nice details. Maybe something you could try to adjust in post? :)

Re: A natural situation...

Hi yonosoy, very nice images! I think there's a little too much variety post production on them, especially if they're supposed to sit closely together like in that collage (the tone in the images could work better together). I don't think the vignetting adds very much to the images. I also think th...

I think next time i'll look for some info before report anything as a bug or problem. Sorry : P
It's not a problem, better one bug report too many than one to few. :) It was a good question actually, had to consult Google. :D

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.64 Stable Release Candidate

You mean software like Speos? 24 hours for a 640 x 480 render? *shudder* I see your point for sure. Due to it's extra focus on physical accuracy, Indigo might be better suited to these applications than its competition. My personal preference would probably be for Indigo to push towards high-end CGI...
