Re: Custom presets in Image Settings

Hey, I was watching Indigo renders for some time plus the forums but I never got a chance to get out of the "hand sketching + postpro process in PS + simple cubic renderings of CAD". That competition render(Indigo competition) I made a couple of months ago was actually my first almost finished image...

Re: Custom presets in Image Settings

I'm getting scared by the software I bought.

But 100% positive!

Sometimes you need to get scared right?

Re: Simple Renderings Thread

However this kind of architecture wouldn't be the place to live for me, why having bedroom above your kitchen, all in one room.... My feelings precisely, I love the balance and the picture, but I can't imagine what house would that be... Not a house but flat/apartment for a couple or a single? Why ...

Re: Loft interior / advice welcomed

Bout the plants outside - try rotating and scaling every single one of them(sometimes not even with proportions), now they kinda look like a corn field ;) Fire at the fireplace - looks shopped ;) - maybe some small pieces of heated coal instead? Its pretty difficult to make good fire in Indigo, espe...

Re: Simple Interiors Thread

Mor4us: As I can see it has three and a half panel(original image). That makes it 3,5 * 80 = 280 cm. So the storey is about 300 cm in height.

Cheers.

Re: Simple Interiors Thread

Oscar_J: Yah, but the first one is(inspired by something but still modelled by his own hands ;) ). Mor4us just posted while I was posting. It's still referring to the first render(second one is a photo or at least looks like it) and I really do read the posts. Found something fishy going on and just...

Re: Simple Interiors Thread

Mor4us Fine looking render but stairs look unrealistic. Their height is bigger than depth. Try making them with a formula 2h+d= 60 to 65 cm. Where h=height(it's from the top of one top to the top of the one above or beneath - not the height of a single step) , d=depth. Rememeber to make heigh...

Re: August 2012 Competition - Materials & Lighting

No time between work, work and more work :P Here is a test shot to where I got a few weeks ago. I would like to return and finish it properly sometime! More competitions coming up, I hope? Now I get what did you mean by similar thinking ;). Nice holo! Shame you didnt finish the render though. Any c...

Re: August 2012 Competition - Materials & Lighting

Ok I'll render the chamber :). The scene is ready but I'm doing the whole thing on a laptop so it takes a while - my HP gets crashes pretty often due to the memory dump or something. Damn I hate it. I'll try to update every time I get a new angle and the main topic isn't closed ;)

Cheers!

Re: August 2012 competition - final renders

Hey! So here it is. Only three images - two with and one without the post process. Postprocessing - adjusted some tones and smoothed it a bit. It's a 1500SPP with Bidir MLT + 3 supersamples. Most of the models grabbed from sketchup with some tweaking on them. Couldnt bake it any longer to hit the de...
