My previous statement was just about NVidia's tech which i still don't like that much. But OIDN & BCD are computed using CPU (HW agnostic) and both are simply Great (1st for previews, 2nd for final 5%) :) Yup, even in RT viewport. I learned, grown... evolved in different way. rather use geometry for twigs & leaves instead of opacity, it's lighter and also much faster to render
at first, it may seem more work, but in the end it all pays off, especially in a case like yours or with grasslands

Are you getting some green tinting there? Is this normal?
I'm finding out it's quite difficult to get atmosphere renderings without some greenish tint along...

Yup, seen few users reporting OCL issues with the latest (418.81) NVidia drivers. Simply roll back to the last working version.

Strangeness with Indigo shows even on high CPU core count...
2990WX Threadripper Performance Regression FIXED on Windows (@ Level1Tech YT) (?)

From what i gathered, other engines (Corona, Arnold, VRay...) don't exhibit such an issue.

That's why demos are available & users are here sharing experience. IMHO, it's nothing to worry about, just don't follow the hype blindly, but get experienced yourself. I got a Maxwell (Q M5000) and a Pascal (GTX 1060) cards so it's a bit trickier to "update drivers" since they don't fully comply, b...

Well, i've been observing "latest NVidia drivers" occasional breaking OCL rendering for more than couple of years already, why i always have a backup drivers ready & i've recently noticed elsewhere that v.417 is again broken...
didn't test it as i don't have to :)

if you haven't yet, uninstall automatic windows drivers > install NVidia ones (if latest don't work, try with previous versions)

Yes, it can be done via OCL. IMO, denoising is worthless and expensive hack considering spent resources VS return value . Especially, when a feature is locked to specific platform. Also, an argument "beneficial for previews" doesn't hold any substance - previews are previews & PT renders can simply ...

Are you using Edge modifier to define edge shading? IIRC, Blendigo doesn't read Normals setting from Blender.
