Is your glass opaciy set to 0 in your material editor (SU)
Do you use the Indigo thin glass material affected to the Su glass ?
Does your glass object have a thickness ?

Material implementation database

This post is adressed to Whaat 'cause he's the Skindigo developper but he might not spend all his time to satisfy all of our will & wish. So any one who could give me elements will be welcome. The integration of a material preset in the skindigo interface is very usefull. Does it exist a simple way ...

Yes, it makes sense !! Stupid I'm. The confusion came from the fact I thought we have to set transparency to 0 for translucent material. So I thought just changing the color of the object was enought. I tried and It works fine. Just a precision for the others : don't push the opacity level to hight,...

Now I understand how to get caustics with glass & water, I've an other noob question : I tried to render coloured glass but without any success. The way I proceed : I give a colour (RGB : 0>X>255) but no expected result. Do I have to modify the xml file or something else ?

Glass & Water test.

I made two tests with the last Indigo (v7.0) & Skindigo exporter (v0.7.1). It’s a simple scene with white background, physical Sky enable in export. Two differences between the renders : Top with a single plane for water and bpt off / Bottom with an object (cylinder) for water and bpt on. Glass with...

Thanks a lot. It's a way I didn't think to explore. Material duplication... I even didn't think I made that. One more point I have to take care. It's a project I'm working on since a long time and without a real regularity. So I think the duplicated materials come from the inserted components. Thank...

??? First Indigo crashing experience ???

Post edited (remove the attached file) 'cause crash origin identified : same material twice in the scene with the same name.

SURE Don't think it's a "hey, mate ! Look at my renders !" forum. It's architecture, design and related oriented. And even if you just upload your work without any other explanation (read forum rules) you'll be fired (kidding)... A picture without explanation is the best way to the PPB trash ...

By the way, the glass test aMinima posted on pushpullbar is a must to see. coming from you, I take it as a compliment  Refering to the thread Kwisten mentioned and 'cause every Indigo's users don't know what we mean by "PPB" ([PPB]² in fact) I invite all of you to visit us at www.pushp...

I tried to give a beginning of answer in PPB. Could it be the fact you don't use to give a thick to your glass ? ('cause you don't, right ?)
