jeah, i also use vim all the time. i used alot other things like eclipse, kdevelop (which is also nice) , geany, ..., ..., ... but everytime i missed the nice little features which makes vim MUCH more powerfull then all the gui ide's. editing is much more easier. you have also autocompletion, tabs, ...

i like QT ! since it work on windows/linux/osx without sourcecode change

also SDL may be choice

QT provides a VERY good tutorial/ documentation! and many examples (also for opengl)

by the way how could i save a PNG in gimp which is accepted by indigo?

@PhostByte yes just copy the Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls.manifest file from the test4 (or test5) dir into the test6 dir. this works on my linux box

right wires are always good for realism, i will try some different colors in the lights

i mean a shadet mode in which u has the wireframe as overlay. a mix between solid/wireframe :o)

the warm mood comes from the white balance.. in this case D55
with D50 its more cold but i liked the warmer settings most :)
