Stunning render !
Where, may I ask, did you find the floor texture? I cant seem to find any decent wood flooring textures aside from the arroway collection.

Then it's probably my materials making it slow.fused wrote:Just a P4 3.2ghz an 1gb ram, rendered for ~12hhafunui wrote:Woah, what kind of render farm does he have. I guess it's worth a try But not with those scans; I haven't been able to get indigo to load one of those yet. (i need 64bit probably)

I think diffuse is not the fastest to converge if you're using a fairly high RGB value. There becomes much more reflecance = longer light paths = longer render times. As for setting up an indigo scene with an external model - you could create a dummy model in blender, create instances of that and t...

The very first render was made with glass. Even after an entire day, you couldn't make anything out. SSS would cause bloodshed. Anyway, I've updated the first post with the new version, which is still baking. I probably could've added a lot more, but I don't think I could fit them in and make them v...

High poly test
It's somewhere around 152 million polygons, and 140 figures. All instances, and rendered for 4h 45m. Still baking. I'm thinking of adding more, and perhaps changing the materials. _____ EDIT: added new version, now containing 1247 figures, and around 1.3Billion polygons. Thank god for instancing. Ti...

Here are some of my indigo renders/tests. I don't think I've posted any of these yet. http://hafunui.deviantart.com/art/Rubber-dragon-84564200 http://hafunui.deviantart.com/art/Octogonal-lamp-84563289 http://hafunui.deviantart.com/art/SSS-playground-84563556 http://hafunui.deviantart.com/art/Reactor...

Indigo crashes while loading large mesh
Indigo keeps crashing while loading the XYZRGB Thai Statue http://graphics.stanford.edu/data/3Dscanrep/ The scene only contains a ground plane. I kept the .ply file separate and linked to it in the .igs file. This is how far it gets before crashing: Building Mesh 'Plane.084'... 3721 vertices (87.211...

What does the Henyay-Greenstein phase function do?
What does the Henyay-Greenstein phase function do?
Also, the manual for v0.9 has sss values and has 'g' parameters for r,g,b, but the blendigo exporter only has a uniform input. Does this mean rgb values dont work, or I just have to enter them in the igs file manually?
