Stunning render :) !

Where, may I ask, did you find the floor texture? I cant seem to find any decent wood flooring textures aside from the arroway collection.

Well, turns out I CAN load the xyzrgb dragon.

Heres another one that I put together quickly, nothing fancy, just to prove I could do it :D . 26,562 dragons, and 191.7 Billion polygons. My Blender cannot handle any more. It almost took longer to export than it did to render.

Just a P4 3.2ghz an 1gb ram, rendered for ~12h :)

Then it's probably my materials making it slow.

I think diffuse is not the fastest to converge if you're using a fairly high RGB value. There becomes much more reflecance = longer light paths = longer render times. As for setting up an indigo scene with an external model - you could create a dummy model in blender, create instances of that and t...

The very first render was made with glass. Even after an entire day, you couldn't make anything out. SSS would cause bloodshed. Anyway, I've updated the first post with the new version, which is still baking. I probably could've added a lot more, but I don't think I could fit them in and make them v...

High poly test

It's somewhere around 152 million polygons, and 140 figures. All instances, and rendered for 4h 45m. Still baking. I'm thinking of adding more, and perhaps changing the materials. _____ EDIT: added new version, now containing 1247 figures, and around 1.3Billion polygons. Thank god for instancing. Ti...

Wow, this would look even better with volumetrics :)

Gotta see that tutorial, maybe this would work for billboarded grass renders.

Indigo crashes while loading large mesh

Indigo keeps crashing while loading the XYZRGB Thai Statue http://graphics.stanford.edu/data/3Dscanrep/ The scene only contains a ground plane. I kept the .ply file separate and linked to it in the .igs file. This is how far it gets before crashing: Building Mesh 'Plane.084'... 3721 vertices (87.211...

You can also open them up in a text editor to tweak settings manually.

It does, but not for the Henyay-Greenstein 'g' value.

So I guess I could just use the average instead of rgb. But what does the henyay-greenstein function actually do?

What does the Henyay-Greenstein phase function do?

What does the Henyay-Greenstein phase function do?

Also, the manual for v0.9 has sss values and has 'g' parameters for r,g,b, but the blendigo exporter only has a uniform input. Does this mean rgb values dont work, or I just have to enter them in the igs file manually?
