Re: Indigo is going commercial; Indigo 2.0

For the record, I made a few small donations, but nothing near the money I've made with Indigo, which, in the space of a year, financed a 4gb, 64-bit, dual-core 19'' laptop, an 8Gb quad core render node, and an Intuos3 tablet. So I don't particularly feel like I've been ripped-off. Hell, sometimes I...

This is a pretty spectacular image. Well done. In general, I would avoid the sharpen filter like the plague. Nothing brings out the grain so much.

Thanks Ono. Haven't had a chance to use the three previous versions (no working exporter - or, more likely, me being too useless to make the exporter work). Hopefully I can play with this one some time soon.

Thanks for your hard work BigFan. You're right, I think I'll start with a new scene and scale things from there.

Nope. Still not working here. The script says it can't find meshes that are undoubtedly there. Did you actually manage to render that scene even without textures? Next I tried to render just one textured cube --> This time Indigo opens but says it can't find the "albedo" UV set. Next I renamed the o...

Oh by the way, I'm still using Blender 246 while you're already upgraded. Could that be a problem?

Hi BigFan, I just PMed you the vexing scene. I assume it's me doing something wrong but I can't find what it is for the life of me. Something else I noticed: I used a scene originally built for Vray, which means it had Blender lights all over the place. I removed these now but whenever your script i...

Sorry for the delay. I'll post the scene (minus textures) tomorrow for you to have a look at (no access to it right now). The mistake is no doubt mine. But nonetheless quite keen to make it work at this end. Haven't been indigoing for ages.

Sorry, script doesn't work for me.
On a simple scene I get a "List index out of range" error at each attempt to export.

White balance is the answer here I think.
Experiment with different white balances and you should find what you're looking for.

OK, I've finally made up my mind. This beast here... http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B001CC6ZT0 ... arrived home yesterday, financed by some freelance work I did over the summer. 2x2.6Ghz, 4G of RAM. The GPU allows me to move 2m polys in Blender in textured view with things barely slowing down. ZBru...
