Love the scene (first one... okay both, but about the first one...) you're getting the typical ivy generator effect that makes it look like your ivy is upside down. Looking closely, all the leaves are oriented point-up and are facing downward, not toward a day light source, as would be logical/normal.

I like it! I think the caption should read: "No! No! Please don't burn us!" or "So that's how the Sahara was formed!" j/k

(...the color balanced one is nice, too.)

I've seen this several times on the ivy generator script, but it appears that your ivy leaves are upside down - may not be the case, but it has that appearance.

Very nice scene, tho.

I must say that the lighting on that last one (dim outside light with the lamp lit) is simply stunning. The scene itself could use some interest, but the lighting... phew! (Oh, and I like the book, too. Great model.)

Is that Thomas the Tank Engine coming down the tracks? (Sorry... living with a 5-year-old makes me a lil' wiggie.) Sma, if you're looking to get fancy, perhaps add volumetric smoke billowing from the stack and partially ocluding the sun. I like the lighting and bloom as is. The tracks in the foregro...

On the hi-def version, the compositing errors are more noticable, esp. around the feet of the closer aliens. Suggest post-proc to smooth these out. Also, the round "eye" sockets show distinct faceting, should be sub-surfed. Love the image overall, tho - very cool creatures (tho I probably wouldn't t...

A few thots: the hook needs a barb. The worm should have a snorkel in his mouth instead of a suitcase (and no arms). Put radial waves eminating from around the shark (and lose its nostrils).

...and some entirely modelled human, who actually drink the tea... including organs and the way, the tea takes through the stomach. That, together with a nice camera-drive, through the body. And the whole thing ends at the..... Kram, Kram, Kram... don't you know how hard it is to get proper SSS set...

Nice work, Furumaru.

BbB, my thot on the angle in the first one is that your camera's lens is too "long". You need a wider angle and moved closer to get a similar framing. This will make the depth (perspective effect) be a little more pronounced. It just comes across as a little too "ortho" as is. This works very well f...

Very nice, lar. Good to see that you returned to the original background. You've matched the green shades well and its come out very nicely! She's ready for a little "adventure" in the woods! :)

lar111, there seems to be some patterning showing up in the grass on the left in this latest one (there was a slight effect in the first one, too.) I still like the first one best, for some reason - the only issue being matching the color of the background with the foreground (generally, the richnes...

I really like the simplicity of this scene in that it hints at complexity (the reflection in the glass) without overtly showing it off. Its as if the viewer knows there's a lot more going on than a table with simple items on it, but they really can't put their finger on why. I've become so used to t...

I must say that marble is just tremendous. Does it have sss applied? Is the bump map a tangent space normal map? It just looks too real, dood! Sweet!
