Re: bug exporting medium absorption from blendigo to indigo

here's a pic of the scene I'm tinkering with. For now just modifying material values in indigo itself. My goal is just to wrap my head around how to adjust transparent materials so I can use them more easily in complex renders without rerendering so many times simply for the sake of material adjustm...

bug exporting medium absorption from blendigo to indigo

just messing around with specular material with basic medium and I'm noticing that translation of Absorption R-G-B + gain from Blender to Indigo is not in a way I'd expect: Blendigo settings: [R]0.9 - [G]0.4 - 0.1 - [gain]10.0 Indigo: 0.111111137786 - 0.666666661148 - 1.0 - 8.999999985099 Blendigo s...

Re: [REQ] lighting analysis pass

Wow! Ok, that's good to know it's a possibility, at least. I wasn't expecting that. Indigo is superb as is.

[REQ] lighting analysis pass

I've used Radiance and other radiosity simulations before to assess light quality, and I'm wondering how difficult it would be to have indigo output illuminance contours, to be able to set a unit, a range, and divisions (kind of like levels of posterization). I think it's not as simple as manipulati...

Displacement Map test scene.

Displacement mappings, whether they come from textures or shaders, are a useful way of adding geometric detail to a model, without having to deal with an extremely high poly count in your modelling software. That said, actually using them can be a bit more complicated than a bump map or a normal map...

Re: SkIndigo 3.4.12

Whaat, this has really come a long way! Two things: A) The culling option isn't showing up in the advanced tab? This isn't a huge problem for me because it's easy enough to get to for still shots in Indigo. And wow. I've been wanting this for so long in a renderer, even with raytracing programs. B) ...

Re: green house?

yes, too noisy. I must work on that. plenty of time now and a nice big model to throw some detail into. Part of it I think is tweaking saturation and bump on certain materials. No excuses this time. :D

Hey, been getting a lot of compliments on renderings and someone actually asked me what program I used to soften the images so I gave indigo a small plug! 8)

green house?

Hi guys, Just finished up this set of renders. I hope this use of indigo doesn't make too many people cringe, but I had a limited amount of time and a puny rendering rig, and really I'm just amazed at the quality of stuff that you guys put out week after week. Indigo gives these perspectives a feeli...

But I have each light group you set up on a separate layer so it should work. Not sure about the ab...
