Looks very cool!

Still needs to be at least three times longer to be satisfying though.

Is this only for Truespace 7? If it worked with the Truespace 6.6 demo, I might give it a try for fun just to make a change from Blender (which I use all the time for serious work).

Thanks Ono. I tend to trust people who release their work under GPL - it shows a certain integrity which matters to me. I've been on these forums a while but I haven't posted any work. Unfortunately, my current project isn't in the photorealism area of things. Still, this is a great forum and I love...

A couple of life-saving open source programs to add to your list (I cannot believe I forgot to mention them!): Avisynth - http://avisynth.org/ Very powerful framesever scripting system (Windows) FWC - http://fwutilities.sourceforge.net/download.html . This is a filewatcher that can run processes on ...

Funny, I was convinced it was open source. Sorry!

It's funny how you don't think about cross-platform issues when you're a windows-only user. I use windows currently but I'm praying for the day when I can move over to linux (mainly game issues). I feel it is important to use cross-platform (mainly linux/windows) software so I don't get tied to Mic...

[Could you] email which are open source and which are freeware? Then I'll update the list. Cheers. I started working down the list before I realised you had already done it! There are a couple of errors in the freeware section which I have here for you to correct. I have also subclassified by opera...

Great GPL Screenshot utility (open source) http://smartision-sc.sourceforge.net/ Nice list on the site! I would suggest you separate opensource from freeware. Most of the softwares I have suggested are open source. Occasionally, freeware has its place (like indigo!) but I would be annoyed to find no...

Personally, I don't mind if Ono doesn't make indigo open source but I would be much happier if the source code were available (subtle difference!). I perfectly accept that open source can be messy and tricky to organise (setting up cvs, logs, documentation etc etc) so I don't think indigo would bene...

Nice strategy there Ono! I hope it goes well for you! That said, if things don't work out as planned (your life changes in some way, you get busy with something else etc) I hope you would consider releasing the source as a gift to the community. It would be such a shame if indigo stopped developing ...
