Re: Eames eiffel chair render
Very good rendering! There are some glitches in the scene tho. As somebody already mentioned the lamp is way to low. Another thing that bugs me is the table as it is to low too. Your knees will touch the table border and thus you cannot sit properly at it. :P :D ;) Keep up the good work and keep in ...

I agree!fenerolina wrote:: époustouflant!

Galinette if you've some spare time at your hands it would be much
appreciated if you could do some small tutorials on ISL to do stuff like
this. I imagine a lot of people would be happy. ;o))

Ouch, ... unfortunately that is exactly my impression over the last two years.Soup wrote:If you spot some gaps in the Technical manual, let us know so we can fill it for you. There's so much stuff it's hard to know what's there and what isn't

Re: New kid on the block (GPU Renderer)
From what I can tell I'd say yes. Mac OS X will not recognize a 285 GTX but if I'm correct you've a lot PCI-E slots in it and so you could still use your ATI card for OS X while you can use both of them under Vista. When you get a 285 GTX with 2GB of ram I guess the resolution you did mention should...

Re: New kid on the block (GPU Renderer)
@neo0. Since you've got a 8800 GTX which supports CUDA you should take a look at the Octane render demo. It won't be as fast as on a 260 or 280 GTX but enough to give you a quick overview of what the future will bring to your desktop. You can try Dade's SmallLuxGPU also as it's written in OpenCL. E...
