Our son was born

From now on I am father. Our son Ignatius was born. My wife Urszula and him are feeling very well. We are perfectly happy.

PS. Thank you guys. Just a pic or two to confirm:-)

Yes, it took just 4h at 1200 x 900. 4 threads on Q6600 with 3 Gb of RAM and it's pretty clean already.

Kram1032: Sure, a WIP:-). In the development the reality will follow the idea and the renders will suit the reality.

An ordinary interior

I live in a small flat and I had to build a small dividing wall recently. To make it clear what I was aiming for I did this render and I will update this as my work goes on and new ideas for my flat emerge.
So the concept render first followed by the real thing.

I had the same problem months ago when I was creating my Egyptian scene. I noticed the same in some Maxwell renders elsewhere. I made a thousand tests but they didn't help.

A więc zgłaszam się :D. Pozdrowienia z Lublina. Strasznie pada śnieg, ale ja nie o tym... pracuję teraz nad sceną z witrażem. Jak cos będzie to się podzielę.

BbB is right about the quad. I got one yesterday and it's soooo much faster than my not so old D930 @ 3Ghz x 2 cores. Even 3-4 times faster in some applications.

I like the vases especially.
In both cases - there are too many sharp edges. Bevel them.

I'm not saying that they are all awesome, but... most of them are breathtaking :-) Congratulations.
