Re: SkIndigo 3.8.25.5

so it's going to go to User/application support ?
permissions aside, that's a better (or more normal/less confusing) place to put it anyway (imo)
;)

i'll try it out a little later

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.8.15 Beta Release

* Changed some UI fonts for better readability on OS X. i'm not sure if this exactly relates to the 3.8.15 release but it looks like some work has been done on the material DB for reading on mac.. this used to be a mess: Screen Shot 2014-11-25 at 1.08.07 AM.png (while i'm at it though.. note the gr...

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.8.1 Beta Release

hmm.. found a problem: OS X one computer with 10.7.5.. the other with 10.9.2 both with indigo 3.8.1 and skindigo 3.6.25.5 upon installing indigo 3.8.1, i can no longer bring materials into sketchup via skindigo's material editor 'Search Mat DB' button and i get the error "Errors occurred while attem...

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.8.1 Beta Release

Here are some comparison renderings showing the faster MLT rendering :) Indigo 3.6.26: Indigo 3.8.1: i just went to 3.8.1 from 3.6.26 and did a couple of sample renders in 3.6 prior to upgrading.. tried the same scenes (via osx sketchup) after installing 3.8.1 and achieved similar enhancements as y...

Re: Is this time to give up Indigo ?

to whoever writes it--

do it in python please.. that way it will (should) work with mac rhino. (maybe other ways to accomplish the same in a different language?)

currently, there are no rendering exporters for mac rhino.. the first one to do it will get a lot of attention :)

Re: What is the best (general) camera setting to use?

fwiw, my 'product' isn't renderings or graphics or whatever.. i'm a design&build carpenter doing skate(board)able structures.. this image is 1 of 6 being used in a presentation pdf and it does get cropped in some.. I'm using rounded rectangle borders and the ratio is more square than the rendering s...

Re: What is the best (general) camera setting to use?

i usually use portra 160NC.. punchy with minimal post work.. (plus that's what i shoot in my cameras (or 400)) here's one that's rendering right now with portra.. i'll do some white balance fine tuning tomorrow once it finishes but you get the idea: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16524160/portr...
