Hi Dougal, I haven't found time to contribute lately (and when I did find some time, the job was already done by you :). Thanks a lot for - keeping things running, - implementing every feature in no time, - and most of all: For writing this extremely tidy code. regards, b btw., 120 downloads is some...

exactly, yet I was so dumbfounded with the apparent lack of real-world scenes that I suspected it could be related to some weird scaling issue.

. I think we'd need a bit of dynamic GUI here... *starts thinking*. 2 - Export visible only is not working. I can verify this. We could make much better use of the render/display layer system. As always, do what helps you most, though personally I thouroughly dislike the render-layer system in Maya...

REV 163 Fixed Shell-Script output (Someone please double-check!), added "\"" statements to cope with "program files" annoyance. Fixed a global scaling bug. I guess we all use "_filename_01" convention wherever we can, except MS with it's urgent need to name one main System Folder "Program Files". :...

 found some time to re-check light scaling... I tested with (accidentially) turning reinhard tonemapping on. ... so the ies-lights are not scaling with the geometry! As a P.S.: Is it possible to map turbidity at some time to the Sun-environment ? It's possible in Mental Ray, and though I like ...

what vesion of windows are you on? Win XP, English, SP2 Double-Clicking on the .cmd works, though. No harm done if the user puts them on though. let's take them out, then. is this the date command I put on the console output? we can drop it if it's not compaitble. it's only a minor aesthetic point....

REV 153 Environment Sun is now set when sun is created preferences are only set if no mti_settings-node exists Great changes so far. Some issues I've found so far: a) I still find that indigo does not render automatically via the cmd-file for me. Even if I comment out the output path indigo is not ...

Rev. 143 Small Revisions of Icons / GUI (Camera, Sun Icons now updating properly) Moved "string to bool"-functionality to mti_ModuleTools Preparing to add Inverse-Transforms / Transforms I'd prefer we do not export new .obj for animations, except if we've checked against Vertex-Animation, if that's...

cool. really, let's unify how we treat modules, so that most paramters are collected globally and passed to the tool-modules in a common fashion, and only module specific items are collected there. Thus, Ideally, mti_Gen would read: global proc mti_Gen () { /* mti_Gen collects all global attributes,...

I propose a halt to new features and a thorough cleaning of mti. Lets split all complicated Elements into components, and let's build mti_Main so that it collects all user-settings at the beginning, passing them to all modules as fitting. I've split out the Model-Generating part, but frankly, I don'...

mtiIndigoSunButton

are the names of the UI elements, same as they are referenced with in mti_ModuleGUITools...

upped missing files...

If you check the very first indigo-exporter´s, they had a built in mesh-export funvtionality. Often created messy files with many objects, imho.

1. sorry for not incl. GUITools, maybe some error while commiting... 2. We could translate the <mesh> (.obj) inversely and do translate + scale + rotate with the <model> element 3. The option to write meshes directly would be very nice sometimes, but I have the feeling that invites trouble: I like t...
