I figured as much. I didn't have to set any UV anything, so I'm not sure what I was expecting
I think I'm going to have to move on to Blender at some point... I'm just put off by it's insanely complex UI.

Re: [ISSUE] Runing free slave node with licensed version
I like this idea. Although I doubt I'll ever purchase a license, I think this could be very important on large render farms if they are migrating from a test environment to a production environment.

Website broken?
Whenever I click on the "profile" tab below one of my threads, it brings me to my profile.
But if you click the link in "You are logged in as username" it tells me the page cannot be found. Anyone else experiencing this?

SkIndigo Help?
I'm just beginning to discover displacement mapping, and this may sound pretty nooby, but WOW. So cool! Anyways, so I still haven't moved beyond SketchUp and I get the feeling this is more a SketchUp issue than Indigo. In SketchUp you can "project" a texture to make it better wrap around a mul...

I'm retarded. Thanks for the linkpixie wrote:Fear not, it's still here, it had went nowhere.
Have no fear of using the search field, top right right before the GO, that's what I did, I've just had to write indigo 1.0.9 in that field to get me there...

Re: What happened to 1.0.9?
I found 1.1.18, but I believe only 1.0.9 works with Skindigo 1.1.16, no?

What happened to 1.0.9?
Whenever I go to the download page for Indigo 1.0.9 (the last stable release, afaik) it brings me to the home page for purchasing or trying indigo. wtf? I thought it was going to be available indefinitely????

Render types
I don't know if this has been answered, but I certainly couldn't find it anywhere; what is the advantages/drawbacks/differences between the different "types" of rendering? Like MLT, Bidir MLT, Alpha render, etc. I've always used Bidir MLT because it sounded the coolest, and because I actually know w...

Re: Weird fireflys and such
...or you could just redraw it with more segments. Id let it cook for a little longer before you start messing with the model, though. 300 spp isnt a lot. How do you draw circles with more segments? Is this just a simple settings thing? Oh, and update! 1800 spp, and no more fireflys! Looks like God...

Re: Weird fireflys and such
Lol seriously? I know 300 is generally a pretty good test render; what would you consider a "production use" spp count? I've never actually known :? It always depends on the scene but i'd say starting at 1000spp maybe :) Holy efffffffff. Had no idea  I think I figured out the issue though; ske...

Weird fireflys and such
Hey everyone... Don't really know whats up with this, but I have some strange firefly's happening in this render around the top part of the syringe :? I'm using SketchUp, Skindigo, and Indigo 1.1.18, I am rendering with Bidir MLT, and I have no exit portals. I have NO idea what I might be doing wron...
