Re: How does one blend between external materials?
Thanks to both of you. I finally got it working... I was sure I would go absolutely insane at some point - working with 2.49 and blendigo is, uhm, not a pleasant experience to say the least.

How does one blend between external materials?

Everytime i try to make a blended material (in Blendigo v2.4 stable) with external materials, I get an error like this:
Everytime i try to make a blended material (in Blendigo v2.4 stable) with external materials, I get an error like this:
So what exactly is one supposed to do to get it working right?SceneLoaderExcep: Blend Material: No material with name 'Acciaio_Inox_18-10' defined.

Re: Indigo Renderer GPU acceleration
CoolColJ: We'll of course try to put as much flexibility in the rendering engine as possible, though it's a little too early to say exactly what - we'll see once the beta is out! I agree with CoolCoJ, the ability to move the lights & camera around inside indigo would be fantastic! And perhaps build...

Re: User survey: Testing the water for Blender 2.5
- Has anyone here started using Blender 2.5 ? I've been using it for modelling since last December. - For any serious work ? If student work counts, then yes. - Would anyone consider adopting blender 2.5 on a more permanent basis if you were able to use Indigo with it ? Yes. The only reason I still...

Then what happens if your computer is not connected to the internet?Russdigo wrote:Is it not possible to do what Zbrush does. I have a copy of Zbrush and I can move it where I want but only one will work at once as the software checks via the net.

Re: Blendigo 2.2.1 for Linux and Mac
Yes, sorry about that, it's a bad situation. Next beta build I do (v2.2.4) I'll make a linux build as well, Blendigo 2.2.x should work with that. That would be truly appreciated. Now, I'm not a programmer or anything but it must be possible to set up an automatic system for compiling Indigo for all...

Blendigo and Indigo 2.2.1 under wine (Linux)
It seems that a few people are running Indigo under wine with success, so I thought I'd give Indigo 2.2.1 a try under linux. Indigo installs fine, but when I start it up there's no text on any of the buttons. Am I missing a special font in wine or something? Also, when installing Blendigo 2.2.1, wha...

Re: Blender introduction video
I'd really like to see Linux move up on the priority list too. I'm looking forward to the day I can throw out Windows and OSX and go all Linux for work. As it is now there are just too many small annoyances (Indigo being one ). But the day seems to move closer every day

Re: Survey results
No need for an apology we are all here to learn. I don't really know that much about this stuff either :-) And you are not entirely wrong in that the exporter coders will have to learn the new API, it's just, it isn't a new programming language. But I think we can all agree on the fact that this mus...

Re: Survey results
Blender 2.5 is supposed to support API, right? So they should start learning to script in API An API is not a language. It's a unified way to communicate with a program using a programming language. In Blenders case it is Python. Isn't it going to be Python 3.0 in 2.5 btw? Look, if the exporter scr...

Re: Survey results
Some of the things I agree with: * Better blender exporter - blendigo is really creaky and needs to be massively upgraded. We've been talking with smartden about this, we'll see what happens. Great, maybe next update could be done for blender 2.50? Yeah, my thought exactly. Please don't waste time ...
