This seems to work as a switch
bpy.data.scenes['Scene'].indigo_engine.use_console = True
I typed this directly in the blender console, and then click on Render.
The process is running but I do not see any dos console...

Re: Starting indigo_console.exe from Blendigo
Hi Eneen, thanks for the quick answer, that is a good start to search investigating. Yes I see this: return os.path.join(getInstallPath(scene), "indigo_console.exe") But I did not find a switch (in the GUI), maybe this is only possible with python, this would be eniough for my need. I will investiga...

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.8.0 Beta Release
Hi,
It seems that 3.8 is much darker as 3.6.26
See picture, left is rendered with 3.6.26 and right is rendered with 3.8.
(camera tonemapping)
Best regards,
Philippe

Tonemapping problem
Hi, We have some trouble here with the tone mapping. First the values of the tone mapping are very different when using a foreground alpha or not (see word document). Second the values depends ob the size of the object to be rendered. Thar means that we are not able to use indigo in a batch mode, pr...

Re: [REQ] non UV texture mapping
Hi,
I would also be pleased to see such a feature in Indigo especially planar mapping, this is something I missed from POV-Ray.
This should not only be availabel in the GUI.
The reason is, I could automated the process of texture mapping for about 80% what I need.
Cheers,
Phil

Re: New code repo for Blendigo
Hi all, there is a problem when exporting the orthographic camera to indigo. I configured blender assuming I use millimeters (scale 0.001). The actual code (camera.py) is: ----------------------------------------------------------------- if(scene.camera.data.type == 'ORTHO'): xml_format['camera_type...

Hi Colezero, welcome here, the scene is great, it seems to be alive, I like the chaos in the piece here! Some suggestions / remarks / idea: Try another lighting. Try a little depth of field. Improve the material. Try improving the dynamic of the game, (I mean not everything up or down), but some pie...

hi ZomB, I tryed cauchy_b_coeff (but this eeems to be so slow that I stpped after some hours) SSS Materials are (very) dependent of Model size... if your merlot is to transparent, try to raise the size of your model... I played a lot with the size of the material, this is why I think there is somewh...

Hi all, the discussion is interesting! @ oodmb Thanks for beginning this discussion! @ Big Fan: Thanks for this explaination how to qualify coders. I do not know how to qualify myself: This can or perhaps could be between 5 or 3, but this is not the problem for me! I just want to give my opinion now...
