Something like this has been in Lightwave, for god knows how long... It'd be sweet if it were part of Blender itself. I suggest making a feature request on the blender.org site. ;)

Did you use the N-gons export? I ask as I know Blender doesn't have true support for that, and your mesh looks nice & clean.

MoI is great to work with, hardly need a keyboard. :)

Thanks, good advice. I got used to modeling that way in Wings, sort of forced to, it makes a lot of sense anyway. I found my earlier problem, though, was because I was sloppy smoothing my window objects, my rendering issues cleared up once I noticed. Along with geometry, it helps to be mindful of sm...

Wow, that was quick. Thanks, will do. Yes, normals seem very important too. :)

Proper Geometry for Windows?

Should they be modeled as they truly are? As in, two separate, spaced sheets of glass... or something simpler, like a single polygon?

I don't have a great handle on dealing with glass in Indigo yet. :)

Maybe sky turbidity would matter as well..?

I've had instances of this myself, basically in glassy/glossy scenes.

Hmm...what's this biological talk, when most everything in the XML/exporters is based on shutters & f-stop?

edit: Wouldn't experimenting with creating more pronounced specular [highlights] create unwanted hot spots as well?

Just saw the thought process going on here, and I like it. Considering we have nk materials, something like luminaires would be a killer counterpart.

Thanks for this slick exporter, btw. :)

Very nice attempt, it's also a great explanation of blend materials. Thanks. :)

That would be interesting, a sort of "bounding box" sort of plane... maybe not. :D

Just curious, is the "no infinite plane w/ Bidir" a temporary issue?

A fine update, just came to mind.

I lurv the new GUI, very fresh change & a great starting point.

The indirect lighting is obviously a plus in the Indigo one, but it doesn't have that kinetic look. I don't really expect it to though, like I don't expect Indigo to do cel-shading.

Congrats on the win, that was a great pose. :)
