Re: Alameldin corner (WIP)
Hey Alameldin,
welcome to this forum and thanks for sharing!
Nice WIP. I really like the wall on the right side of the picture - are the details modeled or driven by a texture?
Cheers

Re: Caustics on pool
Hi rivera-b, I am no caustics expert either. BUT I would expect that in real life, there would probably be no caustics in your night scene, as caustics happen when a strong light source (=sun) hits the pool from above, causing caustics on the pool walls and floor by interacting with the ripples of t...

Hi rivera-b,
please share more infos about your scene, and if possible an example. Are you rendering with MLT?
And yes, caustics are a bitch considering render times...

Re: Grass render with Skindigo
Hi Alejandro, just guessing here as I have no time to try it myself: Try setting up multiple planes for each grass patch, each one "standing" on the ground (=a green plane). In Blender, there is an Array modifier to do this easily or a particle system, surely Skindigo does have sth comparable... Goo...

Re: Landscapes
What I love about that apart from the beautiful image: The fact that you invent scenarios that, despite using state of the art technology, feel as tedious as did 3D feel during its beginnings (commercially) in the early '80s. So hardware developers invent technologies that are like 100 or 1000 times...

Re: Request: Texture Rotation/Scale
Hi vasco, bubs explained this a while ago - just change both "1" in the texture panel to your needs to scale a texture. No idea on how to rotate, although I bet it's possible somehow... Hi Sytza, If the object the texture is painted on in SketchUp is a group or Component, you will probably have to e...

Wow, I almost thought that I finally found a feature that Blendigo has, but the C4D exporter not!
