Re: Pavoda Rendering Thread
Hi Pavoda! All versions of 4.2.xx have problems with video memory. After filling approximately 60-70% of the memory, unstable work with failures begins. I check every new version on different computers. Try version 4.0.65 - it puts almost twice as many objects into the memory of the video card and w...

Re: UV Mapping & displacement in Sketchup
In case of problems with displacement, use the png format. Tiff and tga sometimes turn on insanity mode.

Hi Fused!
I am looking forward to motion blur! In Indigo, MB is one of the best, and realistic looking.

Re: UV Mapping Getting Stretched
Hi Dustin! Indigo bitmap does not support id channels (it exists but does not work), but it supports scale, offset and rotation. But standart bitmap supports id channels but does not support scale, offset and rotation! And by the way, I did not find how to disable texture tiling :) Hope this helps a...

Re: Motion blur in 3ds max
I gradually switch to maya, I like its functionality more than 3ds max :) But seriously, no one in 3ds max has ever tried motion blur? In the render settings menu it is. I often see artists blurring people, as if they are moving at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, but I promise that I will only b...

Re: New Interior Visualisation - Comparison opinion
Hi! I like the multiple shadows :) Maybe you should try adding volumetric lighting, and dust, it works on the CPU and creates a poetic atmosphere. Good air for this was done by Zalevskiy. There is an interesting example of work by user yonosoy https://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t...

Re: Scene Size vs Lighting
Hello! I did not notice such effects when working in 3ds max in centimeters. Check Display unit scale and system unit scale. You can change the blurring and intensity of the shadows using the “Quadratic (a)” parameter (the optimal range of values is 0.01-0.035). The scene will turn yellow the higher...

ISL gradient from edge
Hello! Please tell me how can I create a gradient from the edge of the object using ISL? This would be very useful for creating a multitude of effects that significantly increase the photorealism of images! Mixing blend material with such ISL lighter and darker instances of texture is a very fast an...

How do you create such a wonderful aerial perspective? Objects in the background so accurately acquire a blue tint, as if I photograph it on my nikon! The air is so real that it seems I can breathe it!

Re: Two 2080Ti via NVLink is 11GB or 22GB for Indigo?
NVLink is a very interesting solution! Memory size is the main problem in gpu rendering. The projects that I do occupy from 20GB to 50GB of memory. Sometimes on small projects I can fit in a video card - it's amazingly fast!
