Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.5 Beta

Love the commitment to quality. I ran the IndigoRenderer_4.4.5_Setup.exe, so far everything looks good. But upon extracting IndigoRenderer_v4.4.5.tar.gz, both the Indigo file and the Indigo_console file are being read as shared libraries instead of executables. Hi, do you mean you ran Indigo 4.4.5 ...

How to turn on sunligh in Cinema4D?

What is wrong on a scene? Is this a bad light, cam, materials or something else..?
Try adjusting the white balance, too!

Re: UV Mapping Getting Stretched

Hi Dustin,

first of all, thank you for the feedback.

This is a known issue. 3dsmax is certainly our week spot. My plan for Indigo 4.4 is to iron out a lot of the issues with 3dsmax, like this one, and also to improve the active shade. Expect some beta releases soon!

Best,
Yves

but I promise that I will only blur cars and in evening and night shots, when there is a really long shutter speed by the camera. I'm currently working out some Indigo 4.4 related issues with the 3ds max plugin, but after that there are a few things I wanted to look into. I will have a lo...

Re: Indigo Not Showing Any Render Devices

Hi Dustin,

can you tell me your system specs? (OS, GPUs)

In general, please make sure you have up to date drivers installed for your GPUs.

Best,
Yves

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.5 Beta

Hi Silverwing, Hi there and thank you for the release. It looks great on the indigo front and there are a lot of technical achievements in there. Unfortunately I more and more get the feeling that C4D is not getting the love it deserves. Again there is always the change of me just being to stupid to...

Re: Indigo 4.2 Release

Exciting news, congrats to Nick and all the person involved in the development of the best render engine one can find! :) As I’m planning to update my RT license to a full one (even if I don’t do a lot of 3D those days...) to encourage the future development of Indigo I don’t seem to find any incen...

Re: CAD Model of Cologne Cathedral

Haus Innenraum Besipiel.png Rendered with the new 4.4.5 version The final rendering result after 30 seconds in a different model! That scene took 20 hours in former versions and still was noisy. Major improvement! But it takes up more RAM. So I cant render the Cologne Cathedral on my home P...

Re: CAD Model of Cologne Cathedral

The denoiser should help quite a bit, but it may not do so well unless the noise is fairly even. I do wonder about the geometry of the pillars and all the really tall things. Are those sufficiently subdivided in the height? Indigo's acceleration structures may not do so well with a lot of long and t...

Hi there, same problem with 3dsmax 2019 and indigo max 0.7.4,
an idea for this problem ? Thanks

Stfano
Hi Stfano,

I can't replicate this behaviour with 3dsmax 2019. Does it happen in a clean project? If not, can you send a project file? What other plugins do you have installed?

Best,
Yves

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.5 Beta

Hello Thank you. I got crashes when hit render or open rt preview. Material renders normally. C4D r21.026, win 10. With clear c4d or any plug-ins Does C4D give you a crash report? Additionally, Windows may generate a crash dump, check this article: https://helgeklein.com/blog/2018/10/creating-an-ap...

Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.5 Beta

Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.5 Hi there, this time around, we've got a pretty big update. Not only have we added support for R21, but also this release includes a greatly improved interactive preview. There are two modes for the preview, in-viewport and in a separate dialog. The in-viewport IPR support...
