I see.. Unfortunately I'm a Indigo RT subscriber. So no material id for me after the 4.2 update.
Oh. Huh. That seems not very well thought out by us. I'll bring it up in internal discussion.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.5 Beta

Think about it, the system reserves a fair bit of the GPU RAM, so do other applications running on your system. 512 MB of ram is not all that much, especially not these days. For reference on the performance you could get from that GPU, have a look at the benchmark results. On the last page of the s...

Yes definitely. This would be awesome!
If you could make sure the output is sequentially numbered so I can render a animation and the images would not override themselves with every frame, that would be super handy :-)
Goes without saying :)

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.5 Beta

Raphael,

as an immediate measure I can make the image saving options for export work when rendering in the picture viewer - but without supporting the token system.

Would that work for you?

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.5 Beta

Yes. After extracting IndigoRenderer_v4.4.5.tar.gz in linux the indigo file and the indigo_console file (and network manager) were not listed as executables, as they had been in previous releases. When I run these in the linux terminal I get a list of file not founds. If this release needs updated ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.5 Beta

Love the commitment to quality. I ran the IndigoRenderer_4.4.5_Setup.exe, so far everything looks good. But upon extracting IndigoRenderer_v4.4.5.tar.gz, both the Indigo file and the Indigo_console file are being read as shared libraries instead of executables. Hi, do you mean you ran Indigo 4.4.5 ...

How to turn on sunligh in Cinema4D?

What is wrong on a scene? Is this a bad light, cam, materials or something else..?
Try adjusting the white balance, too!

Re: UV Mapping Getting Stretched

Hi Dustin,

first of all, thank you for the feedback.

This is a known issue. 3dsmax is certainly our week spot. My plan for Indigo 4.4 is to iron out a lot of the issues with 3dsmax, like this one, and also to improve the active shade. Expect some beta releases soon!

Best,
Yves

but I promise that I will only blur cars and in evening and night shots, when there is a really long shutter speed by the camera. I'm currently working out some Indigo 4.4 related issues with the 3ds max plugin, but after that there are a few things I wanted to look into. I will have a lo...

Hi Dustin,

can you tell me your system specs? (OS, GPUs)

In general, please make sure you have up to date drivers installed for your GPUs.

Best,

Hi Silverwing, Hi there and thank you for the release. It looks great on the indigo front and there are a lot of technical achievements in there. Unfortunately I more and more get the feeling that C4D is not getting the love it deserves. Again there is always the change of me just being to stupid to...

Haus Innenraum Besipiel.png Rendered with the new 4.4.5 version The final rendering result after 30 seconds in a different model! That scene took 20 hours in former versions and still was noisy. Major improvement! But it takes up more RAM. So I cant render the Cologne Cathedral on my home P...
