they are just two sided. not thick in that definition. many renders have some issues with the front and back planes of sketchup faces. try to get the white side to "front" and you dont have any problems in any programms. sometimes its a little bit hard to see which is front and which is back, even i...

I Like the Kerkythea approach. just the dropdownbox as it is currently and as option in the dropdown box "... from file " click will open file dialog? something like that. seems intuitive for me

how will the external files uv mapped and sized?
otherwise.. ok this has advantages over internal (especially the purge thing :))
maybe implement both.. ? one thing is still in.. just add other option for it?

with externel method you mean something like maxwells approach with assigning(well more linking than assigning) a maxwell-mxm to a mat in sktechup?

well we made some tests and its working so far.. one little problem and maybe a request for indigo: the frame size to be uploaded is sometimes very big. almost every render is >50mb. can we have some sort of delta compression for the upload? so that just the differencies will be uploaded to the mast...

1.are you sure you have painted the material on the surface/mesh? .. thats sometimes happend to me after making a material :) 2.dont have edit color option... for me there are options like: edit Material2(RGB Light) (using skindigo 1.1.5 and indigo 1.1.5) maybe your using 1.0.9? thats would explain ...

open you material editor, click at the material so that the paint bucket is used(or choose the paint bucket tool yourself) then under plugins->skindigo: material editor. but double click must work? make sure you double click on the materials where the green dot is in my Attachment picture, not where...

this was a sketchup scene with just sun and NO indigomats/lights. just plain diffuse colors.
