Hi, Big problem -Check validity of external materials during export and abort if not valid I've problem when exporting external material, would be nice if it was possible to enable or desable the checking. Re: Indigo Renderer 3.2.8

Well, this is understandable too... May I ask, which CAD modelling program you're using? Surely they are working in double precision before exporting, and have some kind of option to limit the angles inside a triangle (for those needles, one of the angles gets very close to 180 degrees). Our proble...

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.2.8

Yeah, the CPU is generally more accurate doing the same operations (historically GPUs always used "good enough" approximations for games, and I guess this still holds true to some degree). Ok so there is no chance for it to be solved, I can't correct all meshes manualy, will stay with cpu... thx Pl...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.6x) 3.2.2.0

@Jambert, As Thomas says, this is down to having bad geometry in the first place. Have you tried "Make normals consistent" on the object in question? In the next release I will add a mesh option to force disable smoothing, which should help. I always work with export from Solidworks, I can't manual...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.6x) 3.2.2.0

I report the bug with large tri again, bug was find by Thomas from indigo support team. Thomas: I used the latest Blendigo from the forum, version 3.2.2. Also, I know what's causing this issue now, and it's basically bad geometry. Vertex normals are formed from the face normals of the triangles/quad...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.5x) 3.0.14.1

Doug, I exported this scene with 3.0.14.1, problem was the same with 3.2.0.0 but I uninstall it. As I'm a linux user, I can't render it with last indigo, can you please make a render of it and tell me if there is problem with large tri with or without gpu rendering. Why? because desable GPU solved t...
