[REQ] Access to normals and camera details in ISL

Being able to access mesh normals and camera information within ISL could help achieve some pretty cool material effects. For example, you could blend materials based on the relationship between normal and camera directions.

A Lite-brite. Does anyone remember these? They were a really popular toy back in the 70's and 80's.

Has to do with '/' vs '\' in your paths. Unfortunately, I don't really know that there's a way to fix it other than using the native Linux build instead of running with Wine. :)

Edit: Oh, I see now that you have tried the linux version. Hmm... interesting. Could be a bug.

I'm a little confused. Indigo would still need to render the preview, even if the preview generation was automatic and embedded in the plugin dialog. So you would still need to wait a while until you see your preview. Unless you're talking about writing a separate, faster renderer just for previews,...

Welcome Ono, Could You make next release for libtiff3 (libtiff.so.3)? My OS is openSUSE 11.1 64bit. I have only libtiff.so.3 and I can't upgrade to libtiff.so.4 Greetings Unfortunately, this is one of the disadvantages of having so many different flavors of linux using different repositories. Diffe...

This engine could be used for a kick-ass RTS game. Something like Supreme Commander, but with the ability to extend your base to space and the moon of the planet. You could have a "space-elevator" unit. :)

I don't think so. If I understand correctly, beta testers for the Mac version are needed, but they also need testers for the new GUI (which is cross-platform).
